Since we're already capped out for the 2009/10 season, adding Nate and Lee to $14 million in new contracts is going to cost the team $28 million if you consider the luxury tax.

How much money would it take to buy a lottery pick or two?

28 million?

Is there any restriction on how much we can spend to buy a pick?

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Buy a lottery pick? When has a lottery pick ever been traded for cash? If you're taking late 1st rounder, it can be had for the maximum amount you can send in a trade (as martin said) - $3 million.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I figured a lot of the rules might change this year with the economy, but didn't know there was a limit on what you could spend.

Thanks for the info.

Seriously dude, http://members.cox.net/lmcoon/salarycap.htm

Too many questions, not enough research.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?
