Give me Trevor, Balkman, Bynum and Lopez, and while we are at it, Noah, Lamarcus Aldridge and my 2010 pick back.

If the internet or ultimateknicks.com existed in 1992, Knicks personnel would have crept on it to see numerous Briggs' draft threads about drafting Latrell Sprewell instead of Hubert Davis and maybe Patrick would have gotten his second star at the peak of his career.
If Starks stopped shooting the ball in game 7, Ewing would have gotten his ring. Hindsight is 20/20 but when you are talking about Frye, Balkman, and Ariza helping us make the playoffs, sure we might get 1 or 2 extra wins and heck even make the playoffs but you left out that we would still GET SWEPT in the first round, pretty much we'd still suck. By the way Frye sucks, Balkman is okay, Ariza is the only one that is a CONSISTENT role player on any team in the league. |

So this whole thread boils down to a role player who's just starting to excel on one of the three best teams in the league? Let's see, 7 years in the league, averaging 6.8 and 3.7. Yes, we'd have so many rings by now if we'd only kept Ariza, the imaginary human highlight reel.
Anybody vote to change this thread to what if BK hadn't blown out his knee AND the Knicks had drafted BIRD instead of MICHAEL RAY Richardson, and also had Spree? But then we wouldn't have won the Ewing lottery, and then the speed of light would have slowed down faster, but then the celtics would have made the lottery all those years in the 80's and probably would have been better in the '90's and then... And if i could just manage to get someone to give me 5 million dollars in unmarked cash, i could live comfortably, tax free on $150K a year. And no, Bip, i don't care how much you pay me, i'm not telling you how to get the search feature to work. |
