well,these two games i was looking forward to getting this month but because of a certain outing for my friend's b-day which left me without much money happened, i have to choose between the two in the next couple of weeks. i want to know did anyone get these two games and what they liked about it or dislike about it? which one, if you have both, do you recommend me getting first because the other one i will not get until probably in may?

download MLB 09 the show demo & give it a try... i tried it out & the graphics are tight... gameplay seems pretty intuitive too.

This is a hard question to answer because the games are so different. One is a sports game (MLB) and the other is an action game (RE5). But you knew that.

I can say that RE5 is very good, based on what a few of me mates said. MLB, I don't know.

But the answer to your dilemma lies in which you want to play more: action or sports? Which will you feel like playing more over the next few months? With baseball season around the corner, maybe your itch for MLB 09 will grow stronger and you will decide to get that instead of RE.

RE 5 is the bomb BUT you must be able to live with the controls. DL the demo and if you love it, the game is even better.

I just picked up Fallout 3. I am loving this game. I am thinking that RE 5 will be next.

Dude, Ive got Fallout 3 on PS3. IMO the controls are clunky, the action too slow and drawn out, the charcters not really involvable enough. I honestly cant see why people are so enamoured with it. I actually stopped playing it without completing it, which I have never done with a game before. Hell, I even finished frickin Riddick despite hating most of it. I found MGS4 to be a far FAR superior game.

got mlb 09 the show. presentation wise, nothing comes close. however it is extremely hard for me any way. even on rookie and adjusting the sliders, it proved to be difficult. case in point, santana gave up a grandslam to the pirates in the first inning on a pitch that i timed perfectly and my bats did nothing. got frustrated. thinking about trading it in for re5.

oh, and the controls suck. there has been many times i press the button for my runners to advance and they dont not to mention i do not know how to advance only the lead runner and no one else. there has been times that i can't use a sacrifice play because if i press the advance button all my runners will advance. also my outfielders have let so many ground balls get by them that it is frustrating. more than once, my runner was frozen on the base path and tagged out because of it. @#$%!

yeah, i found the gameplay pretty difficult on MLB 09 the show too... i miss the good ol' days when i could mash w/almost every player on my team... muhahaha.

lol. yeah they were fun. the best baseball simulation i played and it was fun was the last baseball game ea sports put out. that game was awesome. had it for my busted ass gamecube but it was great.
