Although Keith Vanish Horn played well he wasnt there when we needed him. The most important points are scored after the 5 minute mark in the fourth quarter. But i dont think anyone was really to blame for this loss. It was just tough to win and Reggie was Reggie. But i hold no contempt for this loss.

I'm taking Doc Rivers IF CHANEY GETS THE AXE. Word on the street is Orlando is ready to drop him by December if things don't change.

I say Isiah Thomas, Bill Lambeer or Micheal Cooper. This team needs a coach who has actually won at the highest level of play. They don't respect coaches like Doc Rivers, George Karl and Fratello. Its about the rings. Players respond to coaches who have rings or are so exceptional that hey have to listen to them. Like Popovich or a Rudy T. The ideal guy is Murice Cheeks a former Knick but he just got an extension.

Well to add to that he(DOC RIVERS) played in the garden for the knicks and gave his heart and soul for the knicks and would probaly tell the point gurds to play diffrently or take a seat. I can see Doc setting F.Williams free.

Oh playa u got jokes. The court jester questioning fan loyalty... Compared to the 1st qtr Indy did go cold.

Here comes the quarter that counts... Let's see what happens. This is where we've had the most problems.

Mutumbo was key in that run. Hopefully he'll come back.

NEW YORK POST:
* Keith Van Horn, after scoring just 17 points in the last two games, met with coach Don Chaney to talk about how he can get more involved when Allan Houston is rolling.

After a slow start, Van Horn scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half, keying their record-breaking 24-0 run. But Van Horn was called for a ridiculous charge. It seems the officials have no respect for Van Horn. See hardcore you won't give him credit anyway anytime. Facts are he did get us rolling and the post said so.

Doc Rivers whould be good. I would like to see someone with a west coast mentality to coaching. Cooper would be nice and interesting. He also has rings.

I don't want anyone coaching women to coach the knicks, Cooper won rings in the 80's the game has changed and that is why he coaches women!

So on top of being obsessed with JVG, you are a male chauvinist? A basketball coach, coaches basketball. The game is the same. As a matter of fact, in my opinion, the Woman's game is more pure. They play the game the way it should be played with better passing, and attention to detail. I am not saying Cooper is the answer, but his coachintg in the WNBA should NOT be a reason for him NOT to be considered. That is just stupid. By the way, how is his team doing there? Pretty Well huh?

Gony most good coaches don't coach 1stIN THE WNBA LOL Cmon man loosen up we are talking about dealing with grown men with egos. Obviously cooper, Lambieer are soft as blue cheese or they would get their props as an assistant in NBA 1st!

Well, I never thought of Laimbeer as soft as cheese. Lord knows he did not play that way. Cooper was only the defensive specialist on a championship team. I would not describe him as soft either.

As for their path that they choose, I can only say that what does it really matter? Are they not coaching professional level BBall? I get this sense from you that if a coach does not follow YOUR prescribed path in becoming a NBA head coach, he is not worthy. Women have egos too and they play basketball which fundamentally is the same in the NBA as it is in the WNBA. A pick and roll is the same in both leagues is it not? What path did Phil Jackson take? How about Don Chaney? Doc Rivers? Kareem Abdul Jabbar? He is so despearate to coach he is coaching a HS team on an INDIAN reservation! AN opportunity is an opportuniy, you must take it, if you think it will help your career positively. john Starks coached the CBA, trying to get noticed for an NBA job. Former NBA coaches have gone to coach in the WNBA too.

What matters is the results when you get there. If cooper is hired by NY and we win 5 rings, will you hate him becasue he coached a woman's team first? I think not, unless you are indeed whacked.

Remember its about winning. You win, you are good. You lose, you are not. SImple.

Gony listen to yourself man! If any NBA coach goes to the WNBA what is that telling you? Men won't take him serious on this level so he tries to persuade women to listen to him. Jabbar went to the indian reservation because he was a pot smoking hot head who punched out parking attendants over parking a space. NAME ONE "REAL COACH" WHO WENT TO THE WNBA AFTER BEING SUCCESSFUL IN THE NBA. The coaches that fit the WNBA persona are college coaches period! Don't go there with me man.

You have got some serious HATE issues man. JVG, Women and WNBA seem to be at the top of the list.

Also a reading comprehension problem.

You never answer my questions. If cooper gets hired and wins 1 ring, what does it matter where he started? Its a step, that is it. Just like being an asst college coach.

Cooper was an NBA player! In your world that alone is worth consideration for an NBA job.

Playa-- you've got to stand down on this one. GONY is just making more sense than you (and, to tell you the truth, that's usually the case). Although the game isn't the same in the WNBA, it takes the same things to win. Besides, we're talking about the Knicks. They play like b*tches anyway, so maybe a WNBA coach would work...
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Owwwwch..... Not being able to challenge a dis like that is indicative of how far the Knicks have fallen. Plus, it's true.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hey Tru, that's your opinion man , so you have the right to run ya pie hole, Tell me what successful WNBA coach went to the NBA? I DON'T REALLY CARE IF HE TALKS ABOUT FUNDAMENTALS BEING A SOME COMMON DENOMENATOR IN COACHING, GUYS WHO COACH IN THE WNBA DOESN'T HAVE THE PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH A MAN WITH AN EGO WHO MAKES WAYYYYYYYYYY MORE MONEY THAN THEY DO EVEN THOUGH THEY PLAYED AT AN HIGH LEVEL(in NBA) AND HAVE RINGS TO SHOW FOR IT. REAL (NBA POTENTIAL)COACHES DEAL WITH GROWN MEN WHO HAVE STRONG ATTITUDES WITH SKILLZ AND MAKES MORE MONEY THAN THEY DO. I have never seen an WNBA coach come to the NBA and prove himself, until then I will keep this opinion regardless of what gony or yourself say.
