Trade Lee with Curry for expiring contracts and a young player/pick in return.

Sign Sessions to MLE deal.

Trade Duhon for another player with a 1 year deal, maybe someone like Mike Miller.

Draft a big man, preferably a defensive big man who can block shots.

Lineup next year:

C - Draft pick
PF - Chandler/Gallinari/Harrington?
SF - Gallinari/Chandler/Harrington
SG - Miller
PG - Sessions
6th man - Nate

This is preliminary of course. I don't know who we'd get back in a Lee/Curry trade or anything or what other guys we'd get. Maybe we'd have a PF there so we wouldn't have to start those guys at PF.

My idea is based on the fact that neither LeBron or Wade will come here in 2010 and that if we plug in Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson to that team we'd be pretty damn good. Thoughts?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

we're not getting Mike Miller in exchange for Chris Duhon... T'Wolves would ask for D Lee or Chandler in all likelihood, & there's no way i would give up either for Miller unless the T'Wolves would agree to swap lottery picks w/us.

Miller for Lee and switching picks would be a great trade, but does Minny need Lee with Love and Craig Smith and Cardinal at PF and with their Center situation settled for years to come?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Look at what Mike Miller has been doing this year. Why would the T Wolves ask for that? What has Miller done this year to have so much value.

doesn't matter cuz Miller's a lot more proven in this league than Duhon is & he's not exactly past his prime at his age... i don't think there's any way the T'Wolves would trade him to us & not ask for more back in return.

Just as an FYI to add to this thread - I could see Minny taking a guy like Lee. They are going to have a new GM there (the owner has said McHale will not be back in the Front Office) and getting a young productive player like Lee would be a good boost for their fanbase.

Lee is way better than Craig Smith & Cardinal... those guys are bench role players at best... yeah i know Smith looked good last night but he's not gonna be putting up double doubles like Lee does on a nightly basis... i think Lee & Love would make a nice tandem for them in their frontcourt, but w/Al Jefferson returning next year they probably wouldn't make the trade & give up a chance to upgrade 1 of their G positions w/someone like Rubio, Jennings or Harden... but they might be able to steal Derozan away even after making this deal so who knows... dunno if McHale wants to take a flyer on a kid w/high upside but less developed game at this point or if he aims to go w/the more NBA ready prospect so i guess alot would depend on that also.
