makes that thread from a couple of days ago about Wade seem silly. If the Heat do anything, its going to be hard to deny, duke. He's doing it all by himself and having a ridiculous year. But they'll probably go safe and give it to Kobe.
My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits/ So trust me I'm as live as it gets.

Posted by sebstar: No, it does not. He scored 50 prior to that thread and got his ass packed in did he not? He slacks against the Knicks until big bad Gallo, a rookie, hands him an inadvertant elbow, and then he decides to play hard? Then a night later LeBron comes in and shuts his ass down again. So, no, seb, anything said against Wade is purely legit points of view. He's a whiny primadonna. Would I welcome him on the Knicks? Of course. Do I buy into all his BS? Not a chance.... why do you? http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Can't see Wade going anywhere but Chicago if he leaves at all.
Even that would be strange because of Rose being there. He doesn't seem like he'd want to share the spotlight. Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Wade is the third best player in the league. He should not be regarded in MVP considerations this year, simply because LA and Cleveland are much better teams, and championship caliber.

Amazing game by Wade tonight against the Celtics. 32 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 steals.

Posted by JrZyHuStLa: Third? I disagree. Maybe top 10 though but I'm not quite up to making an actual list right about now. Just not feeling this guy and his mouth right now. Besides half of his big games he still got his ass handed to himself. Posted by Marv: Yeah, well, we all have our issues. Maybe I have more than others. When it comes to loudmouth players with a cult following I pretty much shyt the bed and go off against them. It is what it is but again this guy ripped our Knicks and pretty much suggested he should have won every MVP award since he came into the league. Not feeling it so F'em. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Posted by NineMike2Whiskey:Posted by Cosmic:Posted by sebstar: He is a good player I'm certainly not disputing that but as you allude to he's a second tier star. He's not on the level of the big boys. Dwight, Kobe, Duncan, LeBron. He's just not there no matter what he says. Heck, I'd take Paul and Deron over him as well. So right there that's six. Again, is he a top 10 player in the NBA? Quite possibly if not probably. He's just not top 3 like he thinks he is. Not even close. Still a damn good player though just being technical here. He might be in Barkley's fave five...but not mine. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Dwight? Really, now we are going to put Dwight over Wade. I am not a huge fan of Lebron so it is easy for me to put Wade over him. I am still anxious to see how Lebron plays when his athleticism fails him. Wade is clutch like Kobe. Wade is doing the same thing that Kobe did pre Gasol and post Shaq but more effectively. He won't be looking to pass up an open shot to a player at the end of games like Lebron. I love Paul but he wishes he can shoot like Wade. Deron Williams at this point doesn't belong in the conversation.

Posted by Pharzeone: Yep. I do. Kobe LeBron Dwight Paul Deron Duncan(Only down this far because of age). Now you can start talking about placing Wade. Starting at #7. Which might belong to Melo IMO. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

The problem with Wade is that he's always hurt. Assuming he's healthy he's #3 in my book behind LeBon and Kobe.

Run up all the individual stats in the world, they have columns to keep track of crap like that....Defensive Player of the Year, Scoring Champion, Rebounding Champion, Assists leader, Most Improved Player, blah blah blah And nobody gives two rat sheets and a monkey's hernia about what wade did in 2006. It's MVP of 2008-2009. Yeah, and so is your mother's sister. |

You got be kidding, you want to look at the guy's around Kobe and Labron. Wade is carrying these guy's in to a possible first round home court. I recall when kobe had to do it buy himself he failed to even make the playoffs, as well as Bron. Wade has been just as good if not better then both those guy's base on supporting cast.
Not to mention a couple of rookies, and a rookie coach. ES
