I wonder how much patience the team has for more roster turnover.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

This is one thing I will definitely agree with you on Briggs. With 20 games left, why not.

Warriors to waive Marcus Williams
March 9, 2009 · Filed Under Golden State Warriors, News

The San Francisco Chronicle (Janny Hu) reports on the dysfunctional Golden State Warriors: Marcus Williams is finally being waived/bought out. Not sure why this didn’t happen earlier, since Nellie had clearly written Williams off back in training camp, and his roster spot could’ve been used to evaluate other guys or keep their own (ie Richard Hendrix or DeMarcus Nelson).

We’ll update this blog entry when it actually happens.

Any issues with him that we don't know about? Always thought he could be a Mark Jackson type of PG.

yeah man I would take a flyer on this cat....he's playing for Don Nelson who seems to have alienated the majority of his team. The dude has had some injuries...I would live to pick him up. As it stands the Knicks need a point guard...at least a 3rd point guard.

There's a ton of issues with him but for 20 games, who knows maybe D'Antoni can get through to him. He's a players coach and maybe he can. If not, who cares, it's the end of the year and worth a shot.

Why not just bring him into camp next year? Are we really going to waive Nichols again?

We still have room for more players. You are allowed to carry up to 15 although 12 may dress for the game. Jeffries no longer needs to dress and neither does QRich. Deactivate both of them and let all the young kids (including Marcus Williams) play.

Don't we still have another spot free? Or are we still carrying Mobley on the roster

at the end of this vid Marbury obviously gives the kid an endorsement with the pat on the bottom....like VD said "once upon a time" this kid was gonna be the next point guard to frequent the league leaders in assists.

I would be on the phone doing that research asap.

He would make Duhon look like a great pg. Marcus cannot shoot, he is absolutely terrible.
