What a great article! Totally right 100%. I will this too, IF, as Chaney says, Deke cannot guard anyone, why the hell did NY sign him? So if you believe Chaney, either Layden is an idiot or Chaney is.

Well, I will combine it and say that both are.

Let Deke man the middle. Make teams adjust to you. Play the zone when Deke is there. Let your perimeter players be more aggressive.

It all makes sense to me and I am sure to others too.

Chaney is over matched. Pure and simple.

I think Chaney does need to play him and develope more cofidence in this lineup.

Spree not in lineup makes it less quick, and Ward is not getting any faster. H20 is still hurting a little. We are a slow team.

Healing, Dice, Eisley in lineup will speed things up.

I think this team can and will play better.

We don't need 3 trades to make it so.

jack ramsey also has an article today about the knicks, his remedy is a starting lineup of kvh,houston,thomas,anderson and eisly.he says this would address the need for team speed and help the lack of fast break points.i agre w vescey we must play to our strengths not the other teams strengths.we are not deep enough to be that versatile ,but we do have many positives

Eisley is a fast dribbler. He used to be able to run a decent break, but his fast break skills have probably eroded under Chaney. Anderson can run, however. Anderson can also finish. Anderson may help tempo wise...

Hey, the only one outside Dyess that can dunk on anyone is Anderson. On the break, at least he has the savvy to make a bee-line to the basket. He often draws fouls as well.

Tru , I agree. But why do we as knicks fans always focus on the weaknesses and not our players individual strengths?

They watch because they are Knick fans who bleed orange and blue.

Ok, we like to catch some of their incredible strengths at specific moments during the came. I've been bleeding orange and blue for a very long time. I'll never run out, but man I'm getting weak due to all the losses.

Yeah, these are definitely dark days for Knicks fans.

If you think that it's bad so far, remember that 10 games haven't even been played yet. There are 73 games left. This season is gonna be a long one.

Teams that give up on their coach don't come back down 20. NY will get sooooooooooooooo much better as the season goes on that I will be serving Crow burgers for free.
