It looks like it's going to take 37 or 38 wins to get the 8th seed and even with what looks to be an easy schedule - that's a lot of road games and I don't see us ending 13-7 or 12-8. Since all the hideously bad teams are out west, we're probably not going to get a good pick unless DW trades up. Personally I'd be OK if we finish with at least 34 wins. It's a start at least.

The Knicks losing the last 2 to the Nets/Bobcats was the nail in the coffin. They needed those games for the standing/tiebreakers, the fact that they were winnable, home (or practically at home). Just disastrous losses. Embrace the fact that its over.

here's how i see it working out....4-16....unless, we get towards the way end and other teams are resting key players for playoffs, then we may win a few of the last 3 or 4 games...

K22 - did you watch the game last night?

I'd love to see them make the playoffs, but this was a classic tank game. We didn't play our two best scorers in crunch time in a game we were in late.

Can anybody explain why we would do that?

Classic tank. If I had any money right now, I would lay it against the Knicks every game for the rest of the year.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

We blew Sac out on their home earlier this year- I could see them being up for revenge and that being a game we should win but lose.

We might match last season's win total!

I don't know about that. It's not like Detroit, Miami, Orlando and New Jersey are sitting on certain playoff spots, no matter what, for the rest of the season. Orlando is what, just 3 games out of the first or second spot??? Detroit is going to be fighting till the end, as are Miami and NJ is going to want that eigth spot. Those teams are going to be desperate and they are going to see us as a must not lose game. Chicago too.

Don't be fooled at all. This is an extremely difficult 20 games. We have Toronto who we're 1-1 with and we have the Clippers (Who we lost to), Kings and Wolves. Who else is there? All of the rest are fighting for a playoff seeding including the Bobcats.

I saw we go 5-15. Dissapoint Orlando once, get dissapointed by the Clippers.

All I know is I'm glad we got those 2 NBDL signings cause that could really help us later on if we want to hold ground in our lotto standing. Anyway, looking forward to seeing Samb and D-Nice play some. No reason to run Duhon into the ground. Give Nate some PG minutes. Let him show if he can get away from ball hogging. You too Al with the ball hogging. I don't get players trying to show up their skills on offense??? If you want another contract from another team, show all facets of your game.
