Looks like Nellie is trying to make life miserable for Jamal enough for him to opt out of the last 2 years and $20M on his contract. Benching him for no reason, etc.

Good luck with that.

Wow, the Warriors are a MESS right now.

Nellie seems to be insane. He already had beef with Al Harrington and Anthony Randolph, and now Jamal Crawford. Who the hell gave him the keys to that franchise??

Plus he ran Baron Davis out. I don't get it.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Monta Ellis wants outta there too.

It's nice to be on the outside-looking-in of a franchise laden in turmoil for once.

How do you not fire Nelson? What is he doing? He got rid of Al who is clearly a good player. Craw could be good in that system, but now he wants him out.

Monta Ellis wants out now too.

They have all of their key players locked up for a long time.

I don't get it.

Monta has 5 years left, so does Biedrins. Jackson has 4 years left. Craw has options for 2 years.

That is not good for a terrible team.

A lot of those players fit our style. Packaging Nate or Lee or both with Jeffries for Jax, Monta or Biedrins would be nice for our team.

Trade for Biedrens, draft say... Tyreke Evans... keep developing Chandler and Gallo... sign LeBron in 2010, sign CP3 in 2011...Championship...
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

CP3's not a FA til 2012 at the earliest, & u won't be able to sign Lebron or any other max FA in 2010 if u take on Biedrins & Jax's contracts

Biedrins and Jax, yes, but if you subtract Jeffries and add one of them, you'd be ok.

I thought Paul had an opt out, but maybe I'm wrong.

i don't think so... we'll have Lee & Nate signed to about $16 mil between them... throw in Curry, Gallo & Chandler's contracts along w/Biedrins' $9 mil cap hit in 2010 & whoever we pick in this year's lottery, u don't have enough cap space left over to sign a max FA & still fill the rest of the remaining roster spots w/live bodies.

We need a point and a center of the future... if Donnie like this team, why not trade for Biedrins and Ellis by moving Nate, (somehow move our) pick, expirings and build around:

Ellis
Chandler
Gallo
Lee
Biedrins
and move one of those guys to the bench for a free agent?

how much better is Ellis than Nate if u really think about it? is Ellis worth $11 mil per for the next 5 years when u can just re-sign Nate at half the cost?

& no offense bro but that team won't win u any championships... that's just another mediocre team in a mediocre conference... we gotta set our sights a lot higher than just being mediocre if we're gonna be trading our assets away to build a team.

Gallo could probably get sponsored by Haagen Daz then and promote Dulce de Leche Gellato

Don Nelson's coaching career peaked when he was wearing fish ties in Milwaukee.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I think Ellis has a BYC. His outgoing trade value is 5.5M. Biedrins also has a BYC. is outgoing trade value is 4.5M. I'd take Biedrins and pass on Ellis.

I don't necessarily think Ellis is an upgrade over Nate. I'm just saying the Knicks could offer Nate, get the Warriors off the hook for Ellis + Biedrins, trade a pick the Warriors can use to rebuild the team, and still have enough to maneuver under the cap to sign one max FA.

(edit:) disregard everything I said in this thread... I didn't factor in the cost of keeping Lee... and that llineup would not be a chmapionship team. So never mind

You don't think Nate is getting 8 mill per after the season on and off the court he has had?

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

We screwed them so bad in that trade. A+ for Walsh. We got the much better player and much better contract.
