???

he'd be the perfect backup to Duhon, he's a great three point shooter and he wants out of Greece.

seem to recall he has a weird buyout clause. Maybe too wants to see Nate at the PG minutes.

i know u meant this thread in good faith but it's sorta depressing when u read "if we're trying to make the playoffs why aren't we going after Pargo"

did you see him in the playoffs for new orleans last year? he's a heady player and he hits 3pt shots. he reminds me of duhon before duhon broke down. if we need someone to back up duhon and at this point maybe even split time with duhon, pargo is a pretty decent option.

after tonight, though, i agree making the playoffs is a very slim possibility.

no, i agree w/u, he'd be a solid option as a backup... just saying i don't see him as the difference maker whether or not we make the playoffs... this team needed to make a splash at the deadline to have any real hope of making the playoffs... guys like Larry Hughes, Chris Wilcox & Jannero Pargo weren't gonna change the inevitable outcome... i'm actually glad Donnie Walsh didn't make any dumb trades to go after guys like Vince Carter, etc. just to make some meaningless run at the playoffs this season.

this team was much better when duhon wasn't running on fumes. and i don't consider nate a real PG. it's not a big move, just a little one that maybe wins us 3-5 more games the rest of the way or something. not an issue now, walsh obviously isn't signing anyone before the march 1 playoff roster deadline. and we pretty clearly have no chance at the playoffs anyway.

i agree w/u on Duhon & Nate... Nate needs to be set free to do what he does best, which is to score & break down other team's defense & be that sparkplug... if u ask him to change that up & become the facilitator then he's not the same player.
