Q has blown ever since he put on a Knick uniform, Jeffries has sucked ever since he started playing basketball and Hughes "lost" his game after getting a fat contract from Cleveland. They are all horrid basketball players.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Yup. If Hughes does not start hitting his shot in a couple of weeks he is going to hitting the bench like he did in Chicago.

Might be quicker than that. I think Gallinari has earned a little playing time for the next game, after tonight. Maybe it's Hughes that needs to earn the playing time.

The guy's shot looks bad as soon as it leaves his hands though.
Exactly. He takes shots at the worst times too. Twice last night our section about ready to explode and he got the ball and bricked it. He is off. He needs to be get in rhythm soon.

Hughes doesnt have his legs...he's a shooting guard so he has to shoot. I agree he was more in the flow tonight....just like I said about Wilcox....give them both a week. They'll be in the mix.

Yeah, Gallo has to be in the rotation over Hughes... For a long time I thought Hughes was worth a look, but boy oh boy was I wrong. He's trash and Tim Thomas looks spectacular coparatively (as previously mentioned)... the good news is the team bailed on Big Snacks and freed up a roster spot. The bad news is Larry Hughes is on the roster.

Gallo is gonna play if he can continue to play like he did yesterday...still Gallo still has trouble with more physical teams....
anyway, what happened to Q-Rich? If anything that mofo will be the one out of the rotation in a week or so in favor of Larry Hughes.
Gallo has game. That being said, he does look like does not know the plays at times.I think he also needs to get more aggressive when he is out there to get the ball.

He is on our roster for 2 more years with a salary around 12 mil this year and 13 mil next year.

You guys are brutal, the guy (Hughes) hasn't played ball in over a month with inconsistant minutes when he did play, of course he looks like crap. D'Toni and coaching staff need to tell him to concentrate on his defense for now. I think Q is hurting again. I like Jeffries hustle and defense, making him a starter wasn't a good idea.
Wilcox (gets start over Jeffries) Lee Harrington Chandler Duhon

I don't think that has anything to do with it. Hughes hasn't been a good player since the 04-05 season. I would rather have JC than Hughes and I HATE JC.

Agreed... Hughes may improve with more PT, but he's have to imrove 10000x to warrant being a rotation player this season. MAybe he gets it together in the offseason, but he's so bad right now he doesn't deserve PT

The only people MDA should be playing more than 10 minutes are Nate, Duhon, Chandler, DG, Wilcox, Lee, and Harrington. Jeffries, Hughes, and Q should get no more than 15 minutes COMBINED.

Q and Duhon are clearly hurting and it's hurting us in return. Hughes hasn't played enough yet but even when he gets it together we know what he is.
Jeffries on the other hand is trash. He's the one that needs to see his minutes cut. Problem is we cut his minutes teams will want him even less over the summer so where does this leave us?
As to Tim Thomas he was playing well but we were forward heavy and still are. Tim being moved gives Gallo a chance to get in the games now - or at least should.
It's a shame we couldn't trade Jeffries to Chicago in that Hughes deal. Then it'd been perfect.

trading Fugazy was the better move cuz Gallo fills his slot perfectly... the perfect scenario would've been to trade Fishlips for Wilcox instead of Malik, but obviously...
