That's lebron James numbers.....Nate is 5'9" on a good day. What he is doing off the bench is incredible.

I'm trying to think of a player in the past that may have done it at or close to his height....

Micheal Adams? He was pretty short and made the all-star team once putting up awesome numbers for a dude under 6'.....

Ricky Pierce??? He was like 6'3" right? He was a super sub for some years averaging 20pts a game.

Just as we drool over other teams players, we need to stop and really appreciate the balls on Nate Robinson. You gotta admire what he's doing...he's pretty incredible.

Classic LOL. You know, you don't know what you got till it's gone. Nate off this team and we are lottery bound.
Wouldn't it be something if we got a 5'7" all star on our hands. Ok, that is a reach, but what if he keeps it going???

AI is the only close comparison and he's taller than Nate.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Chris Paul's 6' on a good day himself... i wanna see Nate continue playing like this over a longer period than 4 games before i start comparing him to guys like AI.

no, he has my respect for what he does... but he has to do that over a season at least to get AI level respect... at least from me.

Little men from the 70's that remind me of Nate are Calvin Murphy, Randy Smith, and Nate Archibauld. Calvin because of his size, Randy for his athletiscism and Nate for scoring.

and look at the Assist to TO ratio...

he has had only 1 TO per game in the last 3.

The 3 point shooting has also been much better, in general.

Jesse Dark - nice old school thoughts but there is no precedent for Nate

Jump in the Wayback Machine with me for a brief moment...

Calvin Murphy was cool but he NEVER attacked the rim like Nate. Hops? No comparison. Nate could dunk over two Calvin Murphy's twirling batons at the same time.

Randy Smith? Team mate of Bob McAdoo Randy Smith? Nah. Nate has a WAY better outside shot and much stronger. He would whup Randy Smith with one hand tied behind his back, blindfolded.

Nate Archibald? Hmmm. Nate vs Nate kinda smacks of Spy Vs Spy. I likee. Nate Archibald had the handle of life and a unique rhythm off the dribble so that yo never knew what angle he would play. A stone cold lefty assassin on a mediocre KC Kings squad. Then again, I never saw Tiny smack a Kareem Abdul Jabbar shot into the first row either.

I would pay money to see a computer generated Nate v Nate game of horse.

The amazing thing is that Nate defies comparisons to other little men because he plays like a big man. Nate isn't a little man by any stretch. He would try to rebound over Nate Bowman or Nate Thurmond as quickly as he would dunk on (or shoot over) Mugsy, Spud, or Earl Boykins.

Did you catch his putback dunk attempt last night?

It was just a hair off from making The garden go nuts.

No fear.

It's nice to see some of the holdouts finally enjoying the development of our own young guys instead of coveting everyone else's.
I just hope that people will like me

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Every time I go to the MSG, Nate is easily the most passionate and athletic player on the floor. And he is very skilled as well. You can see it so much clearly when you can see the entire floor instead of watching on the tube.
