Caron Butler swingman... he's gonna play the 2 & 3 & be a heckuva player for a long time... pretty great find by Isiah in the draft, u gotta give him props.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

He's a SF. But if that means that Harrington is in the lineup instead of Q then yeah he is a 2 guard. No Q Rich, No time. I rather see Gallo get Q's minutes than Hughes as well.

There are times when he looks great like this and then there are times where you question if this guy will get much better.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

The kid is just getting started and from what i've seen he's looking great as a 2/3 in this league. Really positions don't matter much outside of PG and Center. Good players with decent size can play anywhere if they've got the skills and speed to play. Chan is a muscular guy but still has the quickness to play at SG. The better his shot gets the more successful he'll be at the 2. He's got to work on his post game a bit, but overall he's on his way to being a very versatile guy.

I know you've been saying that for awhile now and I agree. He's shown us enough at the 2 now where we've seen he can excel there. Shot the ball great tonight and when that jumper of his is on suddenly he's our most complete player - you know he'll always give a plus effort defensively, he puts it on the floor and gets to the basket, he can score in the post on post-ups (haven't seen that much of this lately but it's there) and he contributes on the glass. Also good in the clutch late in games... Solid young player with a chance to be VERY good. He just needs to keep working hard on that J - needs to get it up to a reliable NBA 2-guard's level. No more making 2, 3 deep balls then throwing up an airball (did have 1 airball from deep tonight I remember). But he's come a long way though. At least Isiah got this kid right thank God - he's a keeper. Continuing to develop him as a 2-guard is a good call Briggs. That's where he belongs. He's a matchup completely in our favor at that position.

I know it is sounds ridiculous but at times he looks like young Kobe but without this signature drive and ambition. He needs to become more proud of himself and sky will be the limit for him.

Yeah that's a good call Ark. I felt the same way for a while now. He's not passive or aloof by any means and he plays hard, but I'd just love for him to develop a little bit more of an edge to him. I can't wait to see him get really pumped up after a big play someday. Maybe that's not him though...

He's only 21. One thing that he will get better at that he has shown at some points is getting to the foul line using the dribble drive. That's the part of the game he has to continue developing--don't settle for a jumpshot when you can get a layup or dunk.

I think Chan and Lee with Nate are getting the opportunity of the lifetime the way it unfolded for the Knicks. And maybe we like fans are getting the opportunity to see really great things in the Garden.

The best part about Chandler is his versatility. He didn't play 2G last night. He played basketball. He started at the 2 and then switched between the 2 and the 3 throughout the night as he normally does. I didn't pay attention but I'm sure at some point he also played the 4 as well.
I just hope that people will like me

True. He seems hesitant to drive at times, and the extension off his drive is not always fluid.

I would actually like him to look at the best of Harrington's "drive to the basket" game, and pick up some things from him. Harrington makes foolish decisions at times, but he can go to the basket with either hand and with full extension.

I also think that Chandler can become a much better player in the post if he uses the backboard on a regular basis.

He has made significant improvement on the arch of his jumper, so it is obvious, to me, that he has the head and ability to improve in other areas of his game.

I still don't know if he is a permanent 2g. I see him as more of a swingman, but if I had to put him in one position, it would be SF.

Wilson Chandler will be a good player in the NBA. On a great team, he can be the 3rd best player in my opinion, sort of how Odom is on the Lakers. But its hard to tell if he is a hard worker because he does not show any emotion. But he definitely is blossoming into a good player for this franchise.

And no misterearl, he's never going to be anywhere near Kobe's level.

It looks like he has been working with Allan Houston on his jumpshot. I can see some changes in the shot he had last year to his form now. It looks more like Houston's release.

Young Kobe was insane, running all over the place and throwing down 360 jams and crossing people over.

Chandler plays within the system. He doesn't have the passing or handling skills. To me, he's a more physical Richard Jefferson. Maybe he can develop into a Granger type. He's gotta keep working on that handle though.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
