The Knicks agreed to a minor trade Thursday with the Oklahoma City Thunder, swapping Malik Rose for Chris Wilcox.

Here's how the trade between the Bulls and Kings looks in ESPN.com's NBA Trade Machine

A source with knowledge of the trade disclosed it to ESPN.com, saying it was agreed to early Thursday afternoon. It was unclear whether there were any additional parts involved in the trade.

Wilcox was one of the players the Thunder had sent to New Orleans in the trade for Tyson Chandler that was voided by Oklahoma City after Chandler failed a physical. The other was Joe Smith, who would like to be bought out by the Thunder in order to sign as a free agent by the Boston Celtics, a source told ESPN.com late Wednesday night.

Both players have expiring contracts: Rose is making $7.65 million, and Wilcox earns $6.75 million.

Cant argue with this at all. We have some good balance on our roster right now.

I love it- Wilcox gives us a legit starting center who can score and board. He can also get up and down the floor. This is a good day of trades for us.

Nice upgrade for little cost. Wilcox can go 16-8 in 35 minutes shooting 50%++

I promised myself I'd never let it get even close to that point again, and no, Sunday night/Monday morning was nowhere close to that point and I rarely go out to drink anymore anyway.

it's a little sad that we have to get excited over minor deals of this kind... we haven't improved our team whatsoever in any impactful way, but at least we're not making dumb trades to add on longterm salary just to make a meaningless push for the playoffs like i had feared we might a few weeks ago, so that's a plus i guess.

And 50%from the free throw line as well.

I like getting Wilcox but this guys game has regressed. will have to turn him around.

hey, donnie has been saying we need a shotblocking pressence downlow and a SG. and he got two short term solutions. i think these trades make us MARGINALLY better, but possibly better enough that a playoff run this season isn't out of the question, which before the deadline it was. so, i like the moves. we got a long term plan, but donnie has been crafty in the short term.
