If playoffs are the goal then the Knicks should do this trade. But I would rather let the Marbury contract expire.

Marbury for Shaq is an Isiah move.

Haven't we seen that he doesn't fit the system already?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Why would Kerr do that? He traded Marion for Shaq.....he should have kept Marion and D'antoni for that matter.

Btw.....why would the Knicks want Shaq? Shaq is still one of the best centers in the game, but damn. D'antoni had to switch speeds to fit Shaq....sigh....well if their was a chance in hell this could go down, David Lee will **** himself...and so would my dad, lol.

You might as well give the rope and point him towards the rafters.
I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni

If I had any chance to get Shaq I would do it. With Shaq we become instant contenders today.

If we got Shaq we would sell out every game next year and the rest of this year and have a chance to go DEEP into the playoffs with all that additional playoff money. Im telling you right now Boston would sht their pants.

I agree with you Briggs. But does he fit into the system. I mean he will get like 20 minutes of burn. 20 minutes for Shaq and 20 for Curry might work.

Forget the system and play basketball. DLee and Shaq upfront is scary because they would actually compliment each other. Other guys like Big Al could cut down on taking too many shots and we can get 17-18 out of Shaq at 60%

If we got shaq, it would be just for fun. And that's it, because we ain't signing him past next year. He'll be 37 in March and 17 years in the NBA. He's still got some game left, and he's actually averaging 30 min. a game. Not bad, but he's going to break down at some point soon. He would, as you said, sell out the rest of the games and next year also. Certainly would solve some of our defensive problems.
I'll never trust this' team again.
