Now is this a prelude to what's to come in 2010 or is it all just cheap publicity shots?

It's one thing to want to come here and top what Kobe and Lebron did in our house, but for players from all over the NBA to want to do it 'in the Garden' tells me one thing. 'They all want to play in the Garden and they know the money is going to be there'. So with that said, I do believe we are going to have so many options come after this next season. And that still' might include some of the biggest names in the NBA.

This is how I'm interpreting this article. Do any of you's see the same thing?

I like your positive thinking. But I don't know if its because they want to play for the Knicks or just score a lot a points when they face us so that there shoe & jersey sales could get a boost. Wheres the guy that wants to come and play for the Knicks so he could attempt to win the Knicks a championship.

That's the thing... the guy that comes here is gonna have to have big balls, because if he does lead the Knicks to a championship, his merchandise will fly off the shelves... if the Knicks come up short, he'll be remembered as a failure in a huge, demanding market. That's why I want LBJ or Wade... I think they assume they'll succeed, which I think is necessary to a NY championship swagger. Mark Messier, Micahel Strahan and/or Usi Umenyiora, Derek Jeter... whoever comes to the Knicks needs to have *that*

the comments these stars are making about MSG as if they can just waltz in here & score at will as if it were an Allstar weekend event or something is pretty insulting to this once proud franchise... & u know what our guys are gonna do about it? absolutely nothing, which is an even bigger insult to this once proud franchise.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I still say it's not that. They are making a point to be show cased on MSG floor. Why all the sudden is this happening, when it could have happened so many times before? Well! I believe they want to show what they can do on this particular floor. Otherwise, why this' floor? And like I said, they know the money is going to be there in 2010.

I'm thinking of it all more as ............................. an interview. They can't talk about it, so why not show us what they have?? Makes some sense, doesn't it?

I mean Kobe a number of times mentioned wanting to be a Knick. Lebron left great speculation that it is possible. Why would any of these guys be saying what they are saying, other than to want to play for NY.

I think you guys underestimate the magic the Garden carries as the worlds greatest arena. It's NYC. Some of the greatest names have come to NY. And it wasn't to show us up, but to play for us.
I'll never trust this' team again.
