I know we have all heard of "short man complex" but believe it or not, there is a such thing as "tall man complex" and it was on full display last night. If Dwight would have attempted to jump over Kobe Bryant last night, everyone would've gone crazy!!! However, it's no big deal when a 5ft 8" guy jumps over a 7ft guy?

This is the reason why Nate's attitude is the way it is now. Always out to prove someone wrong when it comes to himself. The common thinking that he is a short guy and should fit a particular mode (mugsy etc.) when playing among the giants of the league. This is the thought process that Nate continues to buck and resist. In fact, Nate thinks he is one of the giants of the league and fears no one. Now if you apply these attributes to say... Chris Duhon or anyone else in the league and have them anywhere over the 6'2" tall, all of a sudden he is a warrior. Let that 6ft 2 inch guy go up for a slam and miss, no big deal. Let Nate do it, he is somehow showing off.

Allen Iverson also received the same small guy treatment as well. He was ****y but extremely gifted to the point you couldn't really say much except you didn't like his attitude. Saying that, as the league tried to paint A.I. as some "bad for the league" guy, the public continued to make his jersey the top seller of the league for a 3 years span. Nate is also one of the top selling stars (yep I said star)in the league and at some point the media will listen or at least acknowledge what the merch buying public already knows. Nate is the real deal!!!

In addition, what Nate is doing at his height is amazing for anyone at any height but where he is most gifted is his incredible heart! You can have talent but without heart, you don't do the things that Nate is doing. You don't even attempt to block Yao Ming's shot if you are not Nate. You get out the way right? You don't try to dunk over a 7ft guy with wide shoulders if you are not Nate. You jump over Spud Webb( oh he already did that) instead. You don't try to guard Shaq, you get out of the way right? Most every other player on the team would've gotten out of the way I bet.

There is a big double standard in this league regarding Nate and it was on full display last night.

I'm a small business owner so I can relate....lol

Support the little guys and long live the 2 time Slam Dunk Champion!

Nah I didn't record anything else....just don't see any reason to. I started out recording the HORSE comp until I realize it was pure trash so I aborted. Then figured I'd only record the dunk contest. I wanted to record Chandler but I had no idea it was on Friday and I missed it. Looks like that's no big deal since he only had 6 points anyway.

I don't really see Nate having a small man complex. I think other people try to twist his heart and fire into a result of a small man complex. Nate is an incredibly confident individual, he's got a huge heart in both fighting to succeed and helping teammates and friends and family, and it's just misinterpreted.

I don't see it. I don't see any complex with Nate. I just see a guy who lays it all out there for all to see. I think it's other people having a problem with a "little guy" being so good at so many things that little guys usually stink at and they irrationally feel threatened so they compensate by suggesting he does what he does because he has a complex.

Nate has no complex. Those that can't accept what he does have a complex.

Hey Cosmic. I am not implying that Nate has a small mans complex at all. I am more making the point that he responds to guys with tall man's complex.

Peace.

Nah, it's cool... I didn't watch any of All Star Weekend live; I only saw what you linked. You're right, there really was no reason to watch... my personal favorite competition is the three point contest though, so I figured I'd ask
