I think Oklahoma will go after Lee and draft Thabeet. That gives them Westbrook, Durant, Green, Lee and Thabeet and then they can go get another player in 2010. They have money to spend and you will be able to get Lee at a reasonable price. Still trying to figure out Walsh bigger mistake not signing Lee before the year or not drafting Eric Gordon.

If that were to happen, they would have scary talent.

I still don't think Walsh will lose Lee for nothing though. I think we either trade David or we bring him back.

King 1 I hope we keep Lee and get lucky enough to draft Thabeet. Put Thabeet next to Lee and enhance the team a few ways and this team will be real good real fast. I just want to get pick 2-3[see God Im not asking for one--no greed] and if we do get pick 3 let the Clippers have pick 2.

Jeff Greene would hopefully be part of the package.

OKC only goes after Lee if and only if they get Blake Griffin. I know everyone loves Thabeet, but the guy is NOT a gamebreaker

I'd Love Thabeet too, but do you really think we would draft him? (I'm really asking, but I don't think they want a "defensive presence", just more offense)
Agreed, just because of Thabeets hight he would require the occasional double team and with Lee's new found offensive prowess, that would be a nice combo. On defense Lee would be actually pretty good as Thabeet alters EVERYTHING.

In terms of us drafting him- assuming we're lucky enough to be in that position- I think my question is this: Are Walsh and MDA that blind to our inability to defend, and our lack of height on the front line? Is it possible that they don't see how Lee, despite his effort, gets man handled on defense, and loses rebounds to bigger, taller, more physical players?

I don't think its possible, and I don't think they necessarily want more offense- not if they are hoping to get a marquee player like a Lebron in 2010- he's enough offense on his on and in this system.

I think the only question Walsh & MDA would have of Thabeet is does he have decent hands on offense, so that if he is used in pick & rolls like Lee, can he convert.

I think the real question is do you think MD could live with Lee & Thabeet on the floor. I don't think so, he isn't going to give up both of his big man spots to a Shotblocker and a hustle player.

they're gonna look to draft Blake Griffin, bank on it... they won't be interested in Lee if they get Griffin.

they better get the number one pick to get Blake. How can you still call Lee a hustle player he will average 18-20 the rest of the year.

Thabeet would be great. He would be just what the doctor order.
