Besides getting blown at by a pathetic Warriors team, I realized that the one common characteristic of all championship teams is that their whole is greater than the sum of their parts- that makes great teams great, and the knicks just a misfit group of semi talented players

Yes, this is a rather common statement, but think about some of the role players on winning teams.

Would you trade a 2nd rounder for Luke Longley? I hope not, but yet on the Bulls, he played far better than what he was.

We can talk about the role of stars in making team mates better. But we don't have any.

2010 may or may not change things.

But, with this Knick team, the parts are greater than the whole.

Lee can't play defense, and I don't think he ever will. Nate might be the only keeper.

Are you talking about entertainment value of Nate? He will never play defense too.
So he is no difference. His game is GREATER that the whole too.
And I do not think we have anything close to whole, but we have something very close to hole.

Holes! You're right- we have a lot of holes, especially black ones on offense!

True... And one big collective defensive hole.

Getting blown... holes... I see what's going on here.

This is a serious board folks.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
