I know you love that guy and he's is really proving it now. Great skill diversity offensively rebounding the ball and playing good D right now. He's kind of a stealth FA but certainly has to be among the bets because of his size skill and age. And he s a good kid.

I never understood the negativity surrounding Charlie V. He's a good kid like Briggs said....he needs minutes. That's all. He's been blac balled since he's been with the Bucs...yet when guys get hurt they go to him and he puts up 20/10/3/2...with 3's.

Refering to him as Tim Thomas makes me angry cuz to say that means you just have a gang mentality. Like high school.....the cool guys are saying he's tim thomas so now everyone has been saying it . And it isn't fair.

Check his box scores....like for his career....his minutes are all over the place.....how can a guy drop 20/10/3/2 with decent 3's for a month then all of a sudden get a dnp coaches decision or all of a sudden get benched or have his minutes reduced to 16 for no reason. Its like if he has one bad game they trash him. I don't get it.

They had that rookie starting ahead of him this year....charlie v was out playing him yet he stil came off the bench getting 10-16 mins and dnp's.

Its UNexplainable. He would be a star if he got the minutes no question. If D'antoni had him he would be using this guy all over....freeing up his 3pt shot, pick and roll, cuts to the basket, high post....he would be chris webber not no ****in tim thomas....(even though tim thomas is playing well for us off the bench).

Charlie V is somewhere between Tim Thomas & Al Harrington in terms of his quality as a player IMO... their side by side career stats comparisons support that statement.

You can't go side by side comparrison with Charlie V.....like I said check his box scores for his career. There is a lot of unexplainable **** going on.

Tim Thomas has gotten minutes and still only put up mediocre numbers. Tim Thomas should be a house hold name....like his own brand......but like I said tim had the minutes and opportunity. He never stepped up to where he should be.

Al Harrington has been plagued by inexperience, and immaturity. The guy seems to be alright now.

This is not the case for Charlie V. though....like I said check his box scores.....also try to catch a game. You'll look at him and won't say Tim Thomas....you say why the hell isn't this guy playing more minutes. He's not anything that he's been labeled. He's a good player that for some reason is not being used properly. His intensity is there and his energy.

Not to highjack this thread, but as long as we are talking about other teams players, has anyone seen Michael Conley lately. His last 13 games or so he seems to have improved(at least numbers wise)
I just hope that people will like me

Good you brought him up cuz he really has picked it up reciently......last month I started a thread ****tin on his life. So he finally is making good on the forced minutes he's been getting that he hasn't deserved.

Bringing to my point about Charlie V......he was traded for tJ ford. He almost hit the 50pt mark twice as a rookie.....what happened with the Bucks? Charlie V didn't lose any talent or desire. He doesn't have an attitude problem. He was simply wasn't playing. I'm not making **** up cuz all you gotta do is look at his career game log.....its totally ridiculous.

i might not have seen him play as much as you may have, but i think i've seen him in enough game action to realize he's pretty much an inconsistent player who's got talent but doesn't bring it every night like he should... pretty much like a lot of other 3rd tier guys in the NBA who can't get to the next level because of inconsistency issues... he looks awesome 1 game & then for some reason disappears the next... i dunno what other explanation can be derived from any assumed conspiracies or whatever to hold this guy back... i think if he really had it in him to be a star, he would be one by now, bottomline... i think he's got the talent but lacking some in the motivation department, which is the case for a lot of very talented players in the NBA, & is in no way a diss on the guy's ability... he can be great in games, & he can be absolutely invisible in others... the chances of either one occurring have been about even throughout his career from what i've noticed, & again i say that from what i have seen of him during games... he might have painted a different picture to you but i'm not exactly basing all this just off web stats & youtube clips... i've seen the guy play in games & i don't equate him to being a star calibre player, he's a notch below in the range of player i listed earlier, & u can also throw Jamal Crawford into that same category, & u know i like Jamal so i'm not speaking from prejudice here... it's just MHO.

A post doesn't qualify for "MHO" if it's factorial
