Why we want to get into play outs?
Is being embarrassed 4 times on national TV better that 40-50 times on local? "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

Posted by JrZyHuStLa:Posted by islesfan: Who cares. Post counts on UK have been rendered completely meaningless because of how they've been manipulated in the past. I feel sorry for the posters who think that they're about to hit a milestone and are foolish enough to draw attention to it. Well the Knicks need a little bit of both....they definately have to sweep the next few games....
A lot of things also have to do with what Donnie does at the trade deadline....he could end up making a trade that basically ends the season, or a trade that propels the team on a run. Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

Posted by TMS: Yep... They do not want to take responsibility for another top lottery pick... in front of Isles. Smart strategy for Knicks management and coaching start. But they are delusional. i really hope Donnie makes a proactive move for our longterm future so that my prediction doesn't happen... trade Lee & Nate now for extra picks, tank the rest of the way & shoot for a higher pick in the draft... that gives the Knicks options to make a blockbuster type deal on draft night for a guy you can really build around, either by packaging picks to move up to get a top prospect like Griffin, or to trade those picks for a young stud... the time to be so conservative about holding onto the non-star talent we have on this team is long past... when you're in rebuilding mode, u need to amass assets to use in a trade to give urself the chance to land that franchise guy you can build around... milking a 35 win season out of this current collection of talent & then letting Lee & Nate walk for nothing after the season's over is the absolute worst thing you can possibly hope for... please don't let that happen Donnie... i'm putting my faith in you to do the right thing just like u did w/your trades to dump salary this season... don't be afraid to have that long range vision!

Posted by NYK3: These games won't be easy, Warriors are almost back at full strength and at full strength while they are still not a good team, they can score and are scrappy. The Clips front line might give us a big problem and Baron D. is always up for a game against the Knicks. The Clips last 2 wins have been blowouts, yeah Memphis is a bad team but Atlanta has been good this year. If the Knicks aren't careful, they could go into the All Star break at 21-31. If they go 10 games under....... https://www.youtube.com/user/RPreston01/videos

well, i guess our hope for the playoffs is dashed? well, guess what, i can take another year of losing. at least we have our pick this year and we NEED a high pick. we need to go to the playoffs like we need a hole in our head. if we are essentially rebuilding, drafting high and well is the key. i am not downing the gallinari pick yet, though i did bark all summer that i would rather have bayless who i think will still turn out to be a good player, but we can not afford to take on "projects". we need a home run and it looked like we would have had a homerun if we had drafted eric gordon. i don't understand why everyone is worked up and suprised. we knew that we are not going to do well this year and it is rebuilding time after that fateful friday in november when we traded crawford and randolph while we were on a roll. hey, everybody was poppin champagne then. now it is depression and whoa is us. listen, i am more upset with the teams cavalier attitude towards losing with this moral victory mess. just pray for more trades for cap room and july 2010 coming faster.

From now on the starting lineup should go as follows:
Duhon, Nate, Chandler, Gallo, Lee Let the team get the **** kicked out of it and continue to lose, they need lottery talent and another building block |
