Raptors forward Chris Bosh has been told to rest his sprained right knee, and could sit through next weekend's All-Star break.

He will miss Friday's game against New Orleans, and will likely sit against Memphis on Saturday as well.

"Obviously, I'd like to make sure he's healthy through the remainder of the season," coach Jay Triano said. "We have to look at the long-term picture, where we're going to be post-break. I'm going to wait and see how he responds to treatments on a daily basis."

Bosh isn't counting himself out of games past this weekend, but the training staff wants to be cautious.

"We'll take today and see how it responds," Bosh said on Friday. "I'm fine walking around, but during the game you're (running) and dealing with a lot of things. We're working on getting my leg a lot stronger than it is now.

"They (training staff) broke it down it down for me that if you don't pay particular attention to it, it could get a lot worse. I haven't had a free summer in three years, so that has something to do with it.

"I have my priorities in order. Will I be there next week? Yes, no matter (if he plays in Phoenix or just shows up at the all-star festivities to wave the flag)."

I thought this had something to do with a 3 way trade involving the Suns and Amare when I read the title

So Nelson and Bosh both got hurt? That's really unfortunate, but at the same time good for Lee

Watch they give it to Mo Williams. Lebron was pissed about Allen getting it over Mo.

the problem with that is that they are void of big men if they send mo williams there. they should have put mo williams there when nelson went down. i agree that mo williams belong there before lee but lee could make ONLY because the team need a big body, not just howard and kg.

Lee doesn't deserve to be there. Bash away.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I think Okafor deserves the nod ahead of Lee.

I was wondering, why do some guys start a thread out in quotation marks?
I'll never trust this' team again.

Not bashing Lee but you keep avoiding the point that Lee rotated out to the perimeter on many of those Lebron points. Also you failed to acknowledge that Lee lost his cookies as well to Gasol and then Powe as normal gave him trouble. Big Z and Perkins aren't expected to rack up the points so he shouldn't be given up that many to them. Those points given up were a collected effort by the team.

Gasol destroyed him but you never say anything about our perimeter defense and that is is killing us every night. Lee is guarding 5 men which is retarded and at least he tries which I cant say for Nate most of the time. ANother thing that cracks me up is Lee has no oiffensive skills and he was scoring on garnett last night and will average about 18 points a game the rest of the year. How many guys in the NBA average 16 points a game with zero offensive skills?

The majority of Lee's points are from pick and roll. I agree he was forced to create some of his shots last nite as Clyde said because the Celtics know how to defend the pick and roll. Wait Nate doesn't try? Nate probably tries too much. And it isn't the perimeter defense that is killing the Knicks it is the lack of a defensive presence in the paint.
