Game coverage starts shortly. Let's hope Kobe and friends beat them into a pulp enough so we can pick up the bones tomorrow.

I miss Chuck.

Actually it is probably better if the Celts win in double or triple OT, and then they can have a let down against us.

If they get crushed, they're going to be out for revenge next game.

They already are - we beat them last game, remember?

BTW, Karl Malone's there tonight with Ernie and Kenny and he's actually kinda funny.

Celtics have a better defensive team than the Knicks but still felt the need to double up on Kobe any chance they got. Hmm... Maybe next time the Knicks should use the same strategy.

They needs to win no matter what shape the celts are in. This is a division game and the end of hell week. And they seem to win when your sure there going to lose, and if im not mistaken we have portland after that.

hey random rules question. on that last play of overtime, ray allen clearly left his feet, jumped in the air to inbound the ball. is that legal? i kind of thought you had to keep your feet planted to pass the ball inbounds (except off a made basket), but is the rule different in the NBA? or just not enforced? just curious, it's been bugging me a little since last night.

Section D - Thrower-in
1. A thrower-in shall not (a) carry the ball onto the court; (b) fail to release the ball within 5 seconds; (c) touch it on the court before it has touched another player; (d) leave the designated throw-in spot; (e) throw the ball so that it enters the basket before touching anyone on the court; (f) step over the boundary line while inbounding the ball; (g) cause the ball to go out-of-bounds without being touched inbounds; (h) leave the playing surface to gain an advantage on a throw-in; (i) hand the ball to a player on the court.
EXCEPTION: After a field goal or free throw as a result of a personal foul, the thrower-in may run the end line or pass to a teammate behind the end line.

I don't know if jumping counts as leaving the playing surface. I'd guess it does though.....
