ESPN reports the Warriors have matched Houston's offer. Surely there must be a trade pondering between the Knicks and the Warriors!

yes for sure. The warriors are loaded with centers and tal power forwards who could play center. We have to keep talking with them. C'mon Layden!!!

This is very good for the Knicks. GS is now overeloaded with guys at the Center position. Here's a link to the Marc J article.

Also, the Knicks right now are in a bad bargaining position with the Camby injury. Good thing that GS is also in a bad position with the injury to Larry Hughes, who they expected to play the point this year. Hopefully Charlie will continue to play well, and some sort of deal gets done.

It's also interesting that Marc Jackson has come out and said straight that he does not want to be in GS. He can't be traded for a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was at some point. I think that GS matched the offer because they figured they might be able to get something for him in return.

I wouldn't mind getting either Foyle or Dampier. Both are big and would help and are capable of starting while Camby is out.

They might even start with a healthy Camby. Camby playing the clutch 2nd and 4th quarter and doing a little backup on PF. Nah, this couldn't happen, the knicks with a tall lineup..lol

I think the Knicks and the Warriors should have a deal by the end of the week. Why do you think Golden State waited so long to match Houston's offer??? Golden State refused to trade Adonal Foyle for Charlie Ward but Camby's injury has accelerated things. Scott Layden talked to Golden State last week about Eisley and Golden State was interested. Golden State matched Houston's offer for Marc Jackson because they knew they could trade one of their big man (Adonal Foyle).

It is not a coincidence that a trade prior to October 10 was not done since Howard Eisley has more value despite his long contract. Larry Hughes is rumoured to change to the point-guard position but Golden State are preparing themselves in case the experiment doesn't work out.

Marc Jax wants out of Golden State. Let's get him. He would be a premier big man in the small Eastern Conference.
We suck.
