I am going to do a short version here. I had the whole thing typed out, hit a button by accident and lost everything. so Here we go.

Hawks missed 15 FT's, huge part of their loss. Joe johnson was off and defended well by chandler...

Marvin williams had a quiet 28 points and josh smith kept hoisting ugly jumpers.. god I don't like that guy. Never did when he was in HS.. Anyway, knicks stood tall in the 3rd quarter outscoring the hawks 35-19, that was the game right there..

Keys:

JJ and Q has solid games. jeffries with 4/5, but was around the ball and a pesky defender. Q had 14/6 and was a factor early in the game with his post play... and rebounding early.

Lee: 17/16 had 6 turnovers but was a bull on the boards. just consistent and tough play from lee..

Big Al: shot 50% 7-14 from the field had 16/9 with two blocks.. nice game from al. His defenseis a bit underrated I think..

Wilson chandler: AKA channibal lecter, came in the 4th quarter and as the bluest said opened a "chan of whoop azz". LOL.. he hit some big shots, drives and his defense again was really good. The young fella appears to be back.. he is growing into a nice player..

Gallo: he seemed to get picked on a bit by the refs, has to work on his defense as most rookies do, and he seems to hang around trying to find his spots to score at on the floor. would be nice when he comes in the game if the second unit moved a little more. I think then you will see the full range of this kid. He usually gets the ball in posisiton to just go one on one.. Not in position to creat off curls and on the move.. Still he had 5 points, hit a three and then a sweet base line jumper off a fake and then a dribble base line... When he gets some time under his belt, he is going to be a player..

Tim thomas: 4/5, misses some good looks, but he provided some sturdy play around the basket.. Just could not get the shots down..

Duhon... 16/11 he just shredded bibby. he made some big hoops, big jumpers, big passes. Just big.. his leadership is growing by the game, and he is starting to take over games, when we really need it..

Nate: Won this game. Scored 20 of his 24 points in the 4th. was just a beast, he also had 4 boards and three assists. nate was all over the place, scoring , disrupting, the hawks had no answer. Great game from nate.

Knicks played smart and tough, shot 50% from the field and just imposed our will on the hawks, we ran them out of the garden and kept applying pressure. Great win vs a team that is a mismatch problem for us...

PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!!!

20 wins before the Break?

This is significant progress.
