Stephon Marbury officially added Miami to the list of serious suitors during an interview on ESPN's SportsCenter yesterday.

"I've spoken to Boston, to Miami, Mark Cuban (Dallas owner)," Marbury said. "All those talks I'm having is irrelevant because I can't get out of my deal."

Marbury created a furor when he told The Post Sunday the Celtics have given him a verbal commitment if he becomes a free agent while blasting KnicksNew York Knicks brass for not agreeing to a buyout because it doesn't want him in Boston.

Marbury told a confidant yesterday he is concerned the league does not want it public teams have given him commitments while under contract with the Knicks, even though Donnie Walsh gave him permission to talk to other teams.

When asked yesterday if he has a commitment from Boston, Marbury tap danced with ESPN.

"If something was to happen, I would be able to pick either of those teams," Marbury said, referring to Boston and Miami.

Looks like Berman is not happy his BFFbury is playing with other folks.

yeah marbury had a real media blitz yesterday with ESPN, a chat and a couple interviews. i don't think those guys realize that he's nuts.

I think they know exactly what a nut job he is and hoping he spews some special voice clips.

Its been said that GM's in the league consider him "the mike tyson of the NBA".

Marbury still does not understand that when players want to go to a contender they get a buy out with a discount. He feels like a victim.

If you're a team like Boston or Miam you want Marbury to make a push to peak for the postseason. so you want that dude in your camp as of yesterday getting in shape, learning the plays, bonding with teammates (cough), etc.

Does Marbury really think wasting his career dikking around with Dolan is raising his stock with those teams?

If any of them were seriously interested they'd offer him enough to make his buyout worthwhile. They're only interested in him at the veterans minimum, and he drives his market below that by the day.
