If Porter is shown the door, Kerr should follow. Seriously, Kerr ushers MDA out of town, publically questions his philosphy, then puts in HIS guy (Porter) in place and he can't even make it to the allstar break. Two giant sized Ostrich eggs on his face.

Maybe D'Antoni's defense wasn't the problem

Totally agree. So far Kerr has not proven to be a very good GM.

Everything was going perfectly FINE in Phoenix land until Kerr came alone. I'm just sayin'......

If they fire Porter then the Suns are idiots. He is a solid coach and he has not even gotten a full season. If MDA could not take that Suns team to the finals in 5 years, what do they expect from Porter in 1/2 of a season.

I'm pretty sure ownership was of like mind with Kerr as far as MDA goes- don't see how they could give porter such a short amount of time- honestly, that group is getting old together- same with mavs- best thing to do is try to rebuild while their players still have value.

yeah, they need to be patient and if the team fails, its the players not the coach. porter proved that he can do well with a decent lineup before so he should do it now. it takes time with a team with a core used to playing a certain way for about 5 years. if they fire him, kerr is a knucklehead and it would prove d'antoni was right all along.

Kerr messed up cuz he came in and immediately started to ruffle the feathers. The team was successful and he comes in and instead of trying to improve on that...he throws D'antoni under the bus, makes the Shaq trade and totally makes everyone on the team uncomfortable including Nash...Terry's philosophy is totally different that D'antoni. The appraoch was as if Pheonix was the Knicks and havent won in a decade....bad management.

Kerr must have studied the same hand book Isiah used- come in, make a trade for a big star, undermine your coaching pick...
