Yeah John Cena the wrestler has this rap persona....

ok now this is when it gets crazy...his album is actually good. Now check this video....tell me this song isn't hot:

vid is crazy too....respect to Bumpy Knickles aka Freddy Fox who is a legit and underrated rapper.

Are you just as confused as I am?

dudes....run through the album snipets on itunes. the album is actually pretty good. even this song is pretty good. it was meant to be the radio friendly single:

song is kinda good...

I still watch WWE and Cena hasn't really done much rapping in the last couple of years, but, he does have some pretty good tracks on his album. I believe his cousin, Trademarc, produced this album. Trademarc does the second verse in the Bad Bad Man video. Trademarc also produced Kurt Angle's theme in TNA (WWE's current "competition"):

Yeah man I peeped that too....

it just kinda messed me up a little cuz the music is legit. like i downloaded his theme song for kicks but John Cena's "time is now" is a hot song by itself...I love the Lil Fame sample "amadu". "bad man" is my ****...i'm trying to figure out if thats DJ premier on the track especially since freddy foxx is on it. Freddy Fox is from Boston I believe so there's that connection since John Cena is from that area.

John Cena sucks a big one. I hate what wrestling has become and the fact that John Cena is marketed as some sort of superstar.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

The thing with him is just that - no matter what he elicits a reaction. There's about 50-60 guys in WWE right now and I don't think anyone of them get the amount of crowd reactions Cena gets. Plus he move a TON of merchandise too - he's made Vince McMahon a ****-ton of money. No, he's not a good wrestler by any means. He's not Hulk Hogan bad, but he's not very good. His moveset is weak and his STF is embarrasing; but he does work hard in the ring. The one thing is does very well is take a beating. In most pro-wrestling matches, the good guy is the one that gets beaten on for most of the match and this he actually excels in. Bottom line - despite being grossly limited in the ring, he gets the crowd HEAVILY into his matches - which in pro-wrestling is more important than actual wrestling ability.

The smart fans in the crowd will boo him out of the building and want to see the heel he's in with kick his ass. The marks, the women and children love him to death. Love the "Let's Go Cena!" "Fuck You Cena" dueling chants at WWE events.

Yeah. I'm not a Cena fan. As K22 said, he's extremely boring to watch in the ring. He usually takes a beating for a good portion of the match, like Hogan did, because his opponent has more to show off than Cena does. The crowd likes him... and his interviews are relatively entertaining. His raps are decent, but I hate rap.

Definitely not a Cena fan. I would say Orton or Jeff Hardy are my favorites right now.

Btw, I read something that at one of the events a fan got thrown out for having a few signs such as:

"I've Cena nuff"
"Cuck Fena"

Not to divert the thread too much but Randy Orton's come a long way. About 2 years into Orton's WWE tenure, WWE made a huge mistake of shoving him down the fans throats, and giving him too much too soon when he clearly wasn't ready. The fans didn't buy into him yet and it hurt him. He didn't really recover from those mistakes until a year and a half ago when he developed his current calculating, cold-hearted, sinister character he has going now.

Check out what he did at the end of Raw this past Monday:

Yeah, that was sick. It looked like he really punted him too. I was kind of thinking that Orton may have accidentally really kicked him, because on the replay it looked like a direct hit.

His character is awesome, though. Extremely entertaining. I think only Edge is even close.

Stephanie McMahon has the most irritating voice ever.

Orton really did look like he accidentally get him though. Not sure if that reaction of his was legit or not.

h. Not sure if that reaction of his was legit or not.

It was scripted. Unless its like a blown spot or a legit fan run-in, everything is a work 99.99%

Yeah, I thought Cena had flow back when I used to watch wrestling about 4-5 years ago. He used to spit at the crowd, or spit at wrestlers and it was usually on point. He dropped that album around that time and it was for the most part a mixed bag, but nobody took it serious because it was from a white boy wrestler.

Whenever I switch on wrestling now he's acting like a super cornball. They ruined him. I used to obey wrestling during the Monday Night wars and a few years after, but now I cant really stand it for more than a segment or two.

WWE is weak.

Not even a segment or two. It sucks ass. It went downhill after the end of WCW. The last decent year was in 2003.

Cena is what he is. The kids like him and he's the closest they have to Hogan. If you want to be entertained, it's really Orton and Edge. Jericho's talking is entertaining, though his wrestling usually puts me to sleep now. Shawn Michaels can't interview any more, has gone crosseyed, and his wrestling is only half of what it was. Batista is okay. The Hardys are entertaining, even though Matt is starting to to go bald. I think Triple H is still entertaining. The main thing is increasing the numbers of interesting younger wrestlers who can do either crazy flying moves or crazy power moves. That and anyone who can wrestle anywhere close to a Bret Hart style would be nice.
