Raptors' forward Chris Bosh called out teammate Jamario Moon for allowing Atlanta's Joe Johnson to get to the basket late in Toronto's loss on Monday.

"We're up by two points," Bosh said. "Watch the film. He gives him a straight line to the basket. Joe Johnson. All Star. Whatever you want to call him, one of the best players or two-guards in the league, and you give him a straight line. You can't. That's the mental thing we are talking about. We're up by two. If he scores over you what are we going to say? If he hits the jump shot, and you contest as good as you can what are we going to say? But don't give him a straight-line drive. He's too talented for that. He's too good for that, and that's what made me upset."

Maybe Bosh will get real fed up in Toronto and make his decision much easier to join the Knicks

Low class singling him out like that.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I agree.

I think Bosh is sick of losing up there. This was supposed to be their year, they're 16-27 and Bosh is having the best year of his career. I'm not saying it's ok for Bosh to do what he did, but I would imagine he's just frustrated.

If he thinks that is bad, then Duhon will give him high blood pressure because he allows non-all stars to do the same on a routine basis. That's why Jeffries now has the assignment.

If defense matters to Bosh, playing for D'Antoni will be the last place he'll want to go.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Where's the damn proof that MDA hasn't been asking for defense from this team? From what i've read the guy makes the statement that if we play D and play smart offense we'll win more games, so I don't see what the hell you're talking about. In fact the tactics he's been employing have actually made the team a bit better defensively and the stats show the team is getting better. We don't even have a lot of good defensive players and still they aren't being given a free pass to just not play any D.

frustration folks...frustration...

1/2 the online fanbase is turning on bosh just like 1/2 the fanbase turned on ewing from the mid to late 90's.

of course, totally different players but goes to show you that 1/2 the fans out there in cyberspace are idiots.

bosh needs to be upfront with colangelo and tell him if he's planning to leave in 2010.

side note, i think bosh is awesome...he has flaws...but i think he's great. with that said, any team that gets him as their prize player for 2010 better have another alpha dog on the roster b/c bosh is not *that* guy...he ain't built for ny unless lebron or wade come with him.

btw, bosh bitched out moon after that play in the game. that's why the reporter asked and why bosh answered and gave that quote. after that play, moon then bit on a pump fake on bibby and fouled him giving the hawks two more points. then moon pulled up and shot a 3 with 15 left on the clock down 2 with under two minutes to go. moon is not the sharpest knife in the drawer...

That's what happens when you make an NBA roster based on a contest.

You don't have to sell me on that Nixluva. I been surprised that D'Antoni states that defense is the problem not offense. I already gave him credit, I was pointing out just how bad Duhon has been. Let's face it folks, his defense has been horrible. Getting constantly beat off the dribble by a Tony Parker or Joe Johnson is one thing but when you start coughing it up to the Jarrett Jacks (a guy who he supposely schooled on the position) and Van Wafers of the world than there is a problem. Van Wafer was Roberson backup on SL for Christ's sake. A lot of loses for the Knicks have been the result of giving up major points to opposing pgs. I don't recall Duhon playing this bad in Chicago on the defensive end, so I got to assume maybe he is tired but the problem was present even in the preseason.

The team is dead last in the NBA in Opp FG%. The same guys play every night, same minutes.

Where's the damn proof that they aren't being given a free pass for their lack of D?

Agreed about Bosh not being "that" guy. That's why the perfect scenario would be LeBron AND Wade who are both "that" guy.

to be fair to moon...he's not even a starter. Toronto isn't a good team. calderon has been hurt all year. their god like GM didn't improve the team this year and they suck.

For being such a great player Bosh has a much better supporting cast at toronto than the Knicks have and he is a perenial loser so what makes you think he can turn the Knicks around?
