Al Trautwig just reported that Jerome ruptured his Achilles in practice yesterday.

Still amazes me how poor of a signing this was.

How can someone be finished for the year when he never even got started?

Just like Mobley, we should get something for him also. Our prospects are getting better and better in returns. This is a good thing. And as far as Jerome being done? He never got started for us. All goes back to isiah again.
I'll never trust this' team again.

It's funny, everytime I forget that Jerome is on our team, he somehow gets injured and reminds me that he was on the team.
I just hope that people will like me

time to retire. If your body can't hold up to the grueling every 5 or 6 day practice schedule how are you ever going to get regular minutes?
I just hope that people will like me

I get the same thing with Marbury. I forget he's on this team still (in spirit) and suddenly I'm reminded of him, when he opens his big mouth. It's going to be weird getting used to him not being on this team anymore next year.
I'll never trust this' team again.

And that's factorial.

We played him for like 9 minutes in one game... screws up the medical retirement for players who haven't logged gametime minutes in 2 years. This is not a 'career-ending' injury, so no disabled player exception is available... one more year of this crap and we are done with JJ1...
You know I gonna spin wit it

think about it, we have 14 players on the roster right now. 5 of them are completely useless:

Jerome
Marbury
Malik
Curry
Roberson

We need to save our medical retirement for Curry.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

They have played the same amount of games this year and over the past 8 months or so.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

fellas you don't rupture your achilles tendon unless you’re BUSTING it.

even without seeing court time during games, jerome was, as always, busting it in practice.

this man has more heart and soul in his pinky than most players have in their whole heart and soul!!!!

You're right Marv. He sacrificed his tendon to the gods of basketball, for the sake of Gallinari's development.
