I know there's a thread already talking about his contract, but I wanted to be more specific about what we can do with this guys contracts and a few others next year, if we are going to open up the cap. I also think you's will be happy if we could get those extra picks. Here's an idea.

Why just let Marbury's contract run out? We are two games away from the halfway point and we owe him just over 10 million more. Why not trade' his contract to another team, offer to pick up two to three million of it, and trade him for a pick? CAN THIS BE DONE?

Why couldn't we do something similar with Curry by the halfway point next year. I'd be willing to keep Jeffries for 2010-11. At least he puts up some kind of defense for us.

By the halfway point next year, Curry will be owed 5.3 million and the 11.2 for 2010-11. That's a total of 16.5. Maybe if we can offer him up for 11 million as an expiring for 2010-11, picking up 5.5 million of the contract and receiving another pick for him, could you guys live with that? We'd have to give up a little, to not only open the cap door a little more, but also get at least two picks back in return.

Do you's think we can at least do this with Marbury? I know it sounds a little crazy, but just a brainstorming thought. I think we should try to get something back for our loses. The way I see it at this point, obviously D'Antoni isn't exactly trying to get Curry back into the game, to try and up his stock.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Also in looking at team salaries, I noticed that Donnie either signed players straight up contracts (Duhon) or gave others (Galo, Roberson) 'team option' contracts, instead of 'player option' contracts. Isaih gave most of his signings 'player option' contracts. There's a smart way to do it and a dumb way to do it. Donnie's playing it smart.
I'll never trust this' team again.
