Dunno about the rest of you, but here in Jersey I've been getting bogus calls from people claiming my car Warranty is overdue and they can fix it.... and that they can make my Credit Card %'s go down.

So, today I picked up a call, and it was the CC thing. So I answered. Some dude with an accent picks up the phone. Time transpires I give him... uh... My American Express C.F. Frost Info (anyone watch an amex commercial, thats the dude printed on every card at the end of those commercials), give them a phony CC code of digits, and after a few quick moments, I've been told by this guy "Mr. Frost, we've successfully transformed your AMEX into a 4% rate!"

I said thanks and hung up. I hope I didn't actually give a real CC number LOL who knows with how many people are on this planet.


So, just, beware, and NEVER accept ANYTHING by phone. Hang up, think it's legit? Call a legit number to your car/CC company and verify. Kinda easy....to not get scammed.

Old people. Not just women, old women, but yes women are usually sucked into "money saving" scams quicker than men. This is the type of thing you can easily see your father saying "Ah bull****!" and hanging up where your mother might say "Really? That's great! Tell me more!"
