Here's the seemingly "legit" rumors going around today...
The Bobcats, Mavericks and Thunder were close to a three-team deal, but those talks have now gone dormant according to NBA front office sources.

ESPN.com reported that the deal would have sent Raymond Felton, Nazr Mohammed and Sean May from Charlotte to Dallas, landed Earl Watson and Dallas' DeSagana Diop with the Bobcats and shipped Jerry Stackhouse to the Thunder along with a future second-round pick.

However, Charlotte rookie D.J. Augustin was injured in last Tuesday's win over Boston, which could keep the Bobcats from dealing Felton.

Marc Stein of ESPN has been told that the Knicks tried to sell the Heat on a trade for Shawn Marion that centered around Eddy Curry.

Curry will make $9.7 million this season, and his contract runs through the 2010-11 campaign.

Not surprisingly, Miami wasn't very interested in the deal.

The Miami Heat announced today that they have traded guard Shaun Livingston and cash considerations to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 2012 conditional second round draft pick.

The Grizzlies and Bucks have reportedly discussed a trade that would send guard Mike Conley to Milwaukee in exchange for guard Ramon Sessions and rookie forward Joe Alexander.

offer up Nate & Curry for Felton, Nazr & CHA's 2nd round pick... that gives us $4 mil in cap space in 2010, a young PG who is better suited to team style play than Nate that we can sign to the Q.O. & trade if we want next season & a backup C who can block a few shots... that package is way better than Earl Watson & Diop from the Bobcats' perspective IMO.

And then the Grizz proceeded to cut him. I think this guy's career might be over or getting close to be.

Umm ok...it mentions 2/4 your 4 rumors and had a little bit of discussion- it was a just suggestion to merge the two discussions so we don't have 8 topics covering the same thing as we always do. But let me stop complaining, since I politely asked to shove "it"

i'd love to expand that deal to include D Lee going to CHA & us getting back their 1st round pick unprotected if i could while i'm at it... that would be ideal... i'd even take back Sean May's fat butt if they wanted since he doesn't effect our cap in 2010 regardless.

If we could turn Lee into the Bobcats unprotected first round pick, then we should make that deal. We would be guaranteed to have sufficient cap space to sign to max players and we would get two chances in the lotto to get Griffin.

The Curry to Miami trade has been reported many times throughout the season. I really wonder if the Knicks offered it at some point but the media seems to recycle this report over and over. What's the point of offering Eddy Curry now when he has still yet to prove he is fully healthy?

Once he does we can make a trade like that one and I hope we do.

Yeah I can't see why anyone would trade for Eddy Curry. I don't even see them wanting Curry if they got Lee cause then you've got 20M committed salary in 2010 and 2011 on your books. I can't believe this waste of space. He's really screwing us right now.

Is that what happened? I thought I had read the Heat had cut him and then see that the Heat actually traded him. Sad. The kid was actually playing well before he blew out his knee. I don't see how he could ever recover from that. He should be thankful he's walking.

Looks like the Bucks are up for a fire sale:
Milwaukee Bucks: There have been continuous rumors forward Charlie Villanueva is being shopped and whispers about Michael Redd being dealt. Backup guard Charlie Bell’s name has also been bandied about in trade talks and it is believed some teams have contacted the Bucks about the availability of veteran small forward Richard Jefferson.

Kings endlessly in play but who wants Miller and why would the Kings want trash back for him? (ie: Curry).
And as a reminder, Brad Miller isn't the only one being shopped here. The Kings are open to almost all possibilities and John Salmons

And, our beloved Knicks, who according to Newsday, who believes Lee will be a Knick for life, thinks we will be active:
Walsh figures to be active before the Feb. 19 trade deadline, but more likely to move more salary (Eddy Curry) off the 2010-11 payroll. "You're always both" a buyer and a seller, Walsh said, but the Knicks surely will be frugal. "If I can get a good player, I'd like to do that," he said. "But I don't want to interfere with two years from now.

And, the NY Post, who believes Lee will be traded, think we can't and won't make any trades:
Because of his imposed restrictions, Walsh indicated it being doubtful he'll make a trade by the Feb. 19 deadline. The only way he'll make a trade is if he gains a solid player who markedly upgrades the roster and one whose contract does not extend past 2010.

Go figure....

Apparently you missed my joke, just like you missed the rumor, and the intention of my post, and the reasonableness of my request...a very Knick-like FG%

This trade would be a godsend if you ask me.....erase all these mistakes and begin to sign quality players. Eddy Curry hasn't filled his potential yet and he never will.

from a Knicks' standpoint i dunno if i would make a Curry for D Lee trade unless MIA were giving us their 1st rounder as well... i don't wanna give up Lee for purely cap space, which is basically what that deal would entail after this season... u would still have the predicament of losing a good player for nothing in free agency at year's end... u HAVE to get back that 1st round pick if u trade away D Lee.
