I constantly preach the same ideologies to myself and friends from this video. I have been meaning to post these type of thoughts for the longest. To me, bringing back handchecking is mandatory because the NBA is definitely more offense, sissy no pressure, no hands in your face, contesting shot, back pedaling to the goal post no physical contact, no passion or compassion defense; lack of fundamentals, all about mine, ball hogging... The current crop is more athletic with increased flight of foot; yet it lacks substance.
Now on to the unknown youtube remarks to the Michael Jordan video:
The NBA was so much better in the 80s and 90s. And no, I'm not having false nostalgia. I have DVDs of the 94 and 96 finals and the play was a lot more fun to watch. Even defensive struggles weren't painful to watch for the most part. I think ballhogging players (both talented and untalented), poor D fundamentals, and foreign players really dilluted the NBA. And bring back the Supersonics for f...Ks sake.
Great Job on the video. Only NBA games I can watch now is on youtube. Today's NBA does not do enough to get my attention pass 30 secs. Can you do a video where Jordan gets hammered by the pistons? It's the Pistons that makes Jordan what he is! The beating he took was legendary and I love to watch that over and over again. He never gave a single inch to that team! He takes the licking, and gave back with interest!
hand checking need to be bourght back the nba has become all offence
Kobe is not even that good of a shooter. for every shot he makes he misses like three including one stupid one with 3 people on him. Every time he has a 50+ game he takes like 46 shots...shouldn't that be like 96 ppg?? Jordan made almsot every shot and averaged like 35 points and won scoring titles in years when he was double and triple teamed all season and only got an open look at the free throw line.
micheal jordan was/is the best basketball player ever
