Isn't this the same guy who said that they are good guys who are hungry a month ago once Steph was removed. Is it still Steph's fault? I forget. Which way is the wind blowing today?

When was it Steph's fault? Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if the coach had better things to say about the team when they were near .500 than he does now. I suppose it's another issue whether or not it's the coach's fault. For some reason I'm not convinced that it is. This team never won more than 33 games in the last 4 years. It's seems wierd to me to think that Lenny Wilkens, Isiah Thomas, and Larry Brown are all bad coaches because they couldn't make the Knicks a winning team.

Anyway, I don't think He actually said that the team has a loser's mentality.

Yeah, it's the same guy. But what's a coach supposed to say otherwise, right? D'Antoni now knows what he has and at least he came out and said it. I don't know what else to think about this team other than 'they should be ashamed of themselves (especially the veteran Knicks) for letting themselves sink so low'.
I'll never trust this' team again.

With or without Steph, this team apparently wasn't that good anyhow. A Stephless Knicks team is still better though.

He actually said the team has a loser mentality in the first paragraph. He said they don't grasp his system.

On one hand, some you want to see the team flourish! On the other hand, some you seem (seem) to bash down on people here who ask a simple question, or mere suggestion that we can do it (Lebron, Bosh, whoever). There is a reality that says you 'most likely' cannot, but there is also a part that has to believe it can happen, to even have a chance. Without that hope, we might as well as sign off any' possible future that we could' have, unless if only we would give it a chance and believe in it. And we have had plenty of plenty of moments that it never did, so we already know this reality too well. I'm talking about success of getting what it takes to get there and giving it a chance to believe that it can happen.

This has nothing to do with setting yourselves up. You's do that on your own. That's a personal thing.

It's like that little man in the cartoon 'Gulliver' who constantly says 'we'll never make it' or 'we're doomed' or we're gonna die'. That little man never believes it's possible to achieve extending his own life. He's bought into the safety net of knowing that one day he will die and doesn't give much thought to his own life before the obvious will one day happen. I've bitched and complained about players and situations, but equally I have also dreamed the impossible. I have tried to believe that things are possible. I dreamed so much that we now have a capable GM who has given us some light at the end of the tunnel and a coach that can manage whatever he can bring us. Be realistic, yes, but never stop dreaming and hoping that the impossible can happen also. As long as there is a chance, it's no more different then trying to win the lottery for the top draft pick.

Basically, I think we've realiteed' ourselves out of possible deals over the years. We need a reality check on our belief systems.

What's your fricken point idiot. Bringing up old posts that show that I tried to believe in this team??? This is really stupid man. What are you gonna do, spend the next two years reminding me that it was WRONG' to say such things?? Haven't you read the things I have already acknowledged lately?
I'll never trust this' team again.

They do have loser habits. That's what happens when you build a team around guys that have done nothing but lose their entire careers. He's just being honest. College coaches do it all the time and their players seem to survive. you should hear the crap Calhoun says about his teams when they are good or bad. The Knicks are grown men and should be fine.

So why did you need D'Antoni to tell you that? It's been obvious for a few years now
