Maybe I din't hear this, or maybe its just a poor source, but reading the rumor mill at hoopsworld.com they printed this in a Knicks article
The Knicks recently cut Travis Knight, and have released Matt Carroll, leaving them with 2 contracts too many and only a few days to make a deal.
I had no idea, or nor can I find this deal anywere.

I wouldn't say that Hoopsworld is the best source out there tho; I didn't hear about that one. There should be some official news coming out within the next 36 hours...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I think they misinterpreted that one. Those are most likely to happen if no deal is made before monday night but i don't think anything like that has happened yet.
