Time to call McHale. Boston and the Lakers are the only teams with minor league teams. Boston has T-Wolves and Lakers have Grizzlies.

Chicago has a minor league team also, the New York Knicks.

Most of the heat is going to fall on Rondo's shoulders, but there is A lot of mileage on the big three's legs.

hey, the celtics cashed in to win a title. they did it. they would like to do it again but let's not forget they are making a ton of money b/c of last season (tickets, merchandise, advertising). they will be contenders this year and probably next year. so it's all worth it. when you win at that level, it's very difficult to improve the roster with younger players when you're constantly drafting late in the 1st round.

Hey, I'd much rather be filled with a lower level of Green hate and mild disinterest in KG and Ray Allen then puking my guts up watching Bird, McExhale and Little Danny Cringe.

It's a bit tougher to root against KG. Even as a Celt.

Everyone knows that the Celtics talk a good game. It’s pretty much become their trademark, and the bane of their foes. They enjoy beating teams, and humiliating them in the process.

Last night, that wasn’t the case in Charlotte, as the C’s lost in an overtime stunner to the Bobcats. Larry Brown’s crew had a simple mission last night, which they accomplished with elan: Not to be punked.

Among the glut of instructions scrawled on the Charlotte Bobcats’ locker room greaseboard before last night’s game was the following advice regarding Kevin Garnett: “Don’t get punked.”

“They come out and they try to punk you,” Charlotte rookie D.J. Augustin said of the Celts. “You can’t back away from them. We let them know we weren’t intimidated.”

This is obviously a philosophy that more and more teams around the League are going to have to adopt, if they plan on having a chance against the C’s. Well, that and making Rajon Rondo shoot jumpers all night long.
