Knicks get a 6-9 pick in the draft. Do you Take StephCurry? One negative is that his name combination captures all the heartache this decade has produced.

Just turned the game on. Is that Jeff Van Gundy doing the color? Can't be right? Sounds like him though...

Yep. Mark Jackson as well.

Crappy game so far though....seriously. It's garbage on both sides.

Curry looks like TRASH against good competition. If the guy can't handle Duke he's going to handle any single NBA Team!? Nope.

Oh, and, I HATE the College crowds. Annoying as HELL!!! OH OH OH OH OH OH OH OH OH..... Oh, shut the hell up already.

Here's what's crazy and great about college basketball. BC went into Chapel Hill and was up +17 in the second half and won the game against easily the best team in the nation. Tonight they are down +6 at half at home to Harvard and were down by as many as 12.

That happens in the NBA too though. The Celtics lost to the Knicks a few nights ago.

Curry, 4-12, six Turnovers, no team oriented play.

Yep, sounds like a PERFECT fit for the Knicks, and the pool of fans who embrace the AND1 tournament style of play (Crawful and ZachAss fans).

Curry played a very good team game 29 points 10 rebounds 6 assists. The one thing I have noticed about him this season taking over as the point guard is a need to adjust his outside mechanics. Right now his mid range and driving game is at a very high level but his long range game has been way off. When you are a two guard you get to step into the shot set. Now he is taking the shots with more degree of difficulty off of the dribble and I have to wonder if some work with the weights and a slight modification of his arc on the J would do him wonders with the deeper line and angles he shoots from. He also needs to be more careful with the basic pass--not the pass that goes for an assist but the pass to move the ball around. He's good at keeping his head up and getting the ball quickly down the court with either the pass or the dribble in open space. Nonetheless incredible type talent who will be a big time NBA player from the PG position. He's taller and quicker than people think.

Yes, Curry had a lot of trouble dealing with the Duke D at the beginning but after he adjusted it was almost a real game for the second half. I think that was the best D any team has put on Curry all season. They had clearly studied him closely. Did you notice he adopted a little spin move to deal with hand in the face business that the Duke guards were doing? Anyway, all three Duke guys guarding him, esp. Scheyer, were amazing. Davidson was so outmatched that, at times, it seemed like only Lovedale and Curry could dribble the ball more than once without a turnover. For a while, I thought Davidson might fold.

I was amused by the Tirico, Jackson, Van Gundy take on Curry.

Tirico: He's going to be a superstar, the best point guard in the league from day one.

Jackson: He's going to be a star, a starting guard from day one.

Van Gundy: He might get to play in the NBA, if he's willing to ride the bench for a while on a bad team. He's okay.

Van Gundy was very down on Curry's D. And it was the worst D I've seen him play; he certainly didn't take the Duke guards out of their games. His off-ball movement on D was a bit slow today, like he was resting a bit on the defensive end. I think he had his hands full trying to get anything out of his teammates and, doh, scoring half their points. I'd love to seem him play with peers.

Latest Curry stats for Curry freaks:

Against the Citadel, a crappy team...

34 minutes

32 points

8/16 FG

4/8 3s

12/14 FT

6 boards

5 assists

5 steals

4 turnovers

2 fouls

IIRC, Davidson won by 15 points or so.
