i was seriously thinking the same thing earlier today.

I'm surprised it has not happened yet. When the Grizzlies of all people signed him I thought that was the plan....but I guess not.

Although it also wouldn't take much to place a call to the league saying "Yeah, the Knicks signed Miles, and are threatening to play him 10 games so he ends up back on our cap, but said if we trade for Curry and Jeffries that they will waive him before then."

It's a stupid rule anyway. I know why it's there so a team and a player can't have an under the table deal to "retire" so the contract goes away only to resurface the following season in perfect health on another team......yet.....couldn't you easily monitor such a dirty deed? I would think you could.

oh really? given his track record, the "gully and gangsta" zeke wouild have ended up surrendering 2 unprotected #1's in the process of doing this deal.

Yep. Remember when Isiah tried to sign Eddie Robinson to the MLE? But ERob failed the physical? Then Isiah told him to go home and get healthy and call him when he was ready and he'd get the MLE from us?

My god........Isiah was such a moron and it spread beyond the disaster of a roster he created because he tried to add players that were incapacitated!!!

Isiah is the poster boy of what not to do: Fall in love with "talent" and acquire it through any means necessary without ever thinking about team chemistry!
