Sub , I would love to see him back up Houston, young SG for years to come. Seems to me he just needs a new scenary to pekindle the fire he had at Michigan State.

I like his upside also. Mo Pete is in his early 20's, Houston is darn near 40. I'd love the Knicks to pick up Alvin Williams and Mo Pete.

If they don't then they better get rid of Spoon. I'm sick of seeing him try to dunk everything he gets inside. The guy has no clue.

these teams will deal with us if we take some of their huge contracts back.

the guy i like is fizer i know we need a 2g and we have 90 PF but since the knicks just dont care about taking on contracts this is how Iwould go


Ward + Knight to Chicago for Fizer and Robinson

Kurt Thomas+ Frank Williams for Al Williams

We need to keep F Will and trade Eisley and Spoon; at least one of them needs to be in the next move we make. We can waive Travis Knight straight up.

LayDown has to make some kind of move by 6pm Monday. At least he has an extra hour now. I am anxious to see how this one goes down.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

C'mon. You all know that no one north of the border has ever played this game hard enough to survive in a Knick uniform, and certainly not Mo Peterson. Brining in more driftwood isn't going to be the answer to improving our situation (see Lee Nailon). But you're right about Eisley... he's a bum.
Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Tru, Tru, but we dont have any other options. This Mo Pete is our best shot of doing anything this season.

I thought I read Mo PEte makes only 1.6 mil this year.

They will want to dump a contract.

Three way mentioned with Mo Pete going to denver, Rod White to knicks, Harrington to Raps. Only happens if Raps can move a forward, thus the need for Harrington, Knicks extend Rod White, which denver may not want to do if that no 1 pick they had turns out ok. Melo and WHite both play same position.

Layden would get rid of Eisley if someone would take him, which they won't. Why waste another GM's time trying to get them to take Spoon (our backup PF, he's better than Sweets right now) or Eisley (no one wants him)? And, we can't waive Knight. We eat his contract. "Waive" means you don't have to pay him. Eating a contract is a last resort.

That said, if Layden can't trade Ward, Thomas, Harrington, Knight or some combination of three of them by 6pm today, then Knight's contract gets eaten, and Carroll will be waived. Eisley and Frank become Allan's backup 2-guards.

SG Allan, Frank
SF KVH, Anderson
PF KT, Spoon, Harrington
C Deke, Doleac, Lampe

IR - McDyess, Sweets, Vranes

I dont know much about Rodney White but from what i have seen, his game is inconsistent (correct me if i am wrong).

Isnt he more of a 3, can he play shooting guard ?
