I compiled a list of 10 players that I think the Knicks could pick that would make sense for the team in the next draft with the theory we may pick 10th

1 Blake Griffin
2 Jordan Hill
3 Patrick Patterson
4 Hasheem Thabeet
5 James Harden
6 Branden Jennings
7 Tyreke Evans
8 Stephen Curry
9 Nick Calathes
10 Ed Davis

There will be multiple players taken in between some of these players--a great deal of 3s in the draft[which we dont need] but there are other players later in the round like Willie warren of Okl Tyrese Rice of BC Tyler H of NC that could be great second picks. If you look at this top 10 list--were almost assured to get a really good player.

i heard gallinari has a little brother who is lighting it up in an italian ymca pick up league. we just gotta think outside the box.

i think i trust walsh's draft record, but if you look at d'antoni's it's a lot more dicey (and you have to think he had major input into the gallo pick - he basically said he liked the kid because his dad said he could play)

Since they didnt take EG who will be a solid 15 points per game for his career, they should look to trade down and take Patrick Mills and Eric Maynor.

I been touting Eric Maynor on this site for a long time. Would love to have him.

He plays for the best up and coming coach in the country Anthony Grant. All I wanted was Gorden and Courtney Lee look where we would be with those shooters. Watch Patrick Mills the kid can play

I don't trust Walsh decisions on drafts. He normally elects scouts to give him information but he normally relies on his head coach. Granger was more an agreement by everyone in the room and disbelief that the guy was still on the board. Harrington is his baby. He deferred to both Brown and Isiah during their tentures as head coach on draft picks. That's scary. I hope they dope up Isiah enough to send him on some of these scouting trips. D'Antoni should be kept out of any draft room.

i don't see any way Griffin, Thabeet, Jennings, Hill or Harden will be on the board if we're picking 10th

personally my stance is if we can't get Griffin, Rubio, Thabeet, Jennings, Derozan, Harden, Hill or Mullens, we should trade down to the mid-late teens & pick up Patrick Patterson & a team oriented shooter like Budinger... in fact i think i'd rather go that route than take Mullens or Harden too.
