How much would you give from this team to pry Finley from the Mavs?

Personally if he were to become available I would send over KT, Milos, and a draft pick - even another player if it took that. He would make this team a contender.

A contender for what? I mean he is with a more talented Dallas team and he has not made them a contender. I like finley, but where do you play him? Over Houston? won't happen, off the bench? I don't think so.. Over KVH? What sense would that make, we just could have kept spree.... I don't see the sense of getting him and having to bench either Houston, KVH or Finley...

Finley is probably one of the most under rated players in the NBA - the fact that he is on such a talented squad hasnt helped him, it has hurt him. He is a stud on any other squad. I dont know where you fit him in, but obviously Dallas has had no trouble on a talent filled roster - so why would a team full of roll players have trouble finding a spot?

i agree. if he was on the right team he would easily be averaging 25 ppg. but we do not need him. he is at his prime and we already have houston. we need to wait it out and draft a shooting guard next year to take over the reigns in two or three years.

speaking of dallas, i was watching pardon the interruption the other night and one of the guys said what all of us are thinking with dallas. cuban is turning his team to the " ice capades" of basketball. a whole lot of flash with smoke and mirrors but will get beat by the more established franchises like la, sa and minny. granted the team is exciting to watch on television. great show for the kiddies. but definately not playoff worthy b-ball.

It hink Dallas has become the next Trailblazers with better team chemistry. Overloaded at every position and not enough touches for the players. Walker was a mistake in my opinion - that guy is a cancer.

Finley is a fantastic player, but he is no Garnett, Kobe or Duncan, he is not turning a team into a contender, he definately will not turn the knicks into a contender.. come on guys...

Personally speaking, I would rather have Finley than Houston. Dont get me wrong, I like Houston - but I think Finley is a better player.
