I'll Start of with James Worthy....the dude was the absolute perfect guy to be on the recieving end of a Magic Johnson pass. He alwasy had a full head of steam and a million ways to get to the basket and finish a play. He was an incredible athelete too cuz when Magig was running Worthy was always ahead of the pack....and did the mover ever attempt a jumpshot? All his points seems to be dunks or lay ups.....just a great, great finisher. Master of the power dribble.

THEIF!!! That would have been my pick. Although Bernard King and Dr. J weren't bad at all either. But I did admire those 80's Lakers. Kareem with the unstoppable hook. Most championship teams would not have had much of a chance in the Lakers day.

Oh yes' and Eny, if you remembe, Worthy could hit the jumper and hit the three with consistency. Worthy was one of the most complete players I ever watched. And on top of that, he was one of the coolest dudes around. Never got into trouble, never was outspoken, always kept to himself and was always respectful. how couldn't anyone appreciate that team and this player? You couldn't.

To make things worse' Kareem had the same demeanor as Worthy. Magic worked them both in and out of the paint. Truly the most complete basketball team I ever saw. And the only reason why they didn't take all the championships is because of Boston, Detroit and Philadelphia. I'd have to say that the 80's had the most competition in basketball, more than any other decade. That's because these teams had more than one super star players on it. And a guy like mike learned a lot from these masters, as he went into his prime in the 90's.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Agreed. But the better he gets, then the more their going to ship him out form what I hear.

Shawn Kemp was by far the best power fwd finisher the game has ever seen. I think that's accurate. He was a true freak of nature.
