We need to trade our

Long John Silver platter of Yuck in Fish N Shrimp Combo(Effries and Nate) plus a side order of CHUCKERSUCK to Seattle for Earl Watson, Wilkins,(both expire by 2010) 2nd rounder and call up Jr.

We get a backup point guard who can defend and hit the 3, a defensive wing to sit Swollen Chipmunk Face down in Q-Poor, a draft pick to bring in the fold for rebuilding and call up Jr. to backup Chan.

not interested in Earl Watson to be honest... definitely not if i'm giving up Nate... we can get more back for him than that.

Westbrook is definitely worth trading for even though I am not sure how he will fit in this offense with his suspect jumper. He definitely can push the rock and is an excellent defender. Once he learns how to shoot consistently, he is going to be a top-5 pg in this league. He is like a more athletic Rajon Rando. If we packaged Lee and Nate, Seattle might be interested but I am not sure Walsh would be.

Well Denver ends up trading Atkins and their 2009 first rounder for Petro and a 2nd. I think my idea was just as good. This must mean no Kleiza deal later on and supposedly we could potentially deal Malik for Watson.....MEH!
The Denver Nuggets traded guard Chucky Atkins and their 2009 first round draft choice to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for center Johan Petro and their 2009 second round draft choice.

"We appreciate everything that the Nuggets have done to work this deal," said Atkins' agent, Andy Miller. "It's a win-win for both sides. For us, we look at it as an opportunity to get a fresh start and re-establish his identity. He really hasn't had a chance to gain any rhythm since his injury. And the Nuggets, it's an opportunity to get under the tax and be a playoff team."

The Nuggets were looking for a big man to fortify their front court. Petro's contract is expiring, which will help the Nuggets remain below the luxury tax threshold.

The Thunder have a nice young nucleus in Durant, Green and Westbrook. They'd be foolish to trade any of those three. Getting Kristic should help them more.

the Thunder are probably now shopping Earl Watson to other teams... that's probably the reason Donnie Walsh was in OKL to watch the last game.

i wouldn't be surprised to see a deal of Watson & Wilkins for Malik & Roberson.

Malik for Watson.

We need the extra guard. He expires 2010. This is the type of deal to make.

We already missed out on Atkins. Atkins and a 1st rounder went to OKC for Petro and a 2nd rounder. If only we had Mobely's trade exemption in place maybe we're the ones getting Atkins and a 1st rounder.

Come on guys, think bigger than that. We have a team full of back up role players, we need a star. If it was as simple as Rose for Watson, it could have been done by now. I'd like to think it's bigger than that. I definitely like a three way with two other willing teams - one looking to rebuild and the other looking to improve to go deep into the playoffs

Knicks - Thunder - Mavericks

Rondo actually is a very good athlete, very close to westbrook... I don't see westbrook as a starting PG, doesn't handle the ball that well, can't go left, doesn't pass that well , doesn't seem and even in college never seemed to be able to run a fluid offense.. I see him more as a game changer off the bench, play some PG, some SG, make some plays, change the tempo... I think DJ augustine has more PG skills in his thumb than westbrook has in his whole body... I just don't see this guy as a PG.. maybe I will be proven wrong..

why would they be foolish? that core is 5-31 and they have vets on that team.. I think people get caught up in picks and ages too much... they are 5-31,if they were in a knicks uniform we would be saying they are overrated talent and would be trying to trade them... having a young team, may be a reason why your team is not good, but it shouldn't be a reason why your team is horrid... the grizzlies are young, and they are not that bad, they just have a much better core. If the right offer came along, I would keep durant and move green and westbrook in a snap... If portland dangled Outlaw and Fernandez, they would be smart to jump all over that...
