curry is a pillar of plumpness, but his ability to score in the post can not be found that easily. the knicks took a turn for the worse b/c of the removal of zach. knicks were unable to replace his skillset. and i can understand exactly why lb would want him in charlotte despite his affliction for carl's jr - a post player is necessary to win in this league (and ok4's defense and shot blocking make for a perfect dancing partner for twinkie toes).

but getting back to the knicks, i think you keep curry and try to get him motivated. unless you can find another post guy (but i don't see one out there that can be available).

i rather have the cap space & a Carl's Jr. chili cheese burger... but i agree, they need to get this guy playing again so someone will take him off our hands in a trade this year or next.

Would their fans called them "Emekurry" or "Curryfor" or "Emeddy?"

I agree. Maybe Curry will repond to D's positive praise. He still is young and always has seemed a bit fragile emotionally. He did well when Isiah built him up and fell apart when Isiah attempted to use him as one of his scapegoats last year. Hopefully Duhon and Q can help him realize how important he could be to the team.

when D' started complaining about his players jacking up shots too quickly I think he began paving the way for a slowdown when Curry returns.

outside of the obvious (conditioning), i think what chunky cold medina should be working on is learning how to pass back out. a good functioning offense will need quick passes and curry has been a turnover machine throughout his career.

only thing i wonder is that since aguirre is no longer around, who will be his big man coach? herb?

It might be nice to have someone his size set a pick on offense as well. No one is going to get around Eddy very quickly.

i say bring Patrick Ewing back to be our bigman head coach... then reunite him w/his boy in a couple weeks when Marbury can finally be waived after the deadline to qualify for postseason play.

Ewing would be great for Eddy. He is a cool guy and can relate one to one. He can talk about giving up jerk chicken during the season and maybe even teach Eddy a jump shot. My guess is that he would work out with Eddy every day before practice and on the road. Ewing has an impressive resume, Yao and Dwight, and Curry has the physical ability to be very good. I would love to see it.
