fit for this offense. I think he is too emotional, takes bad shots, and holds the ball too much. I also think Harrington is a bit overrated and takes horrible shots. I really wish we can get gallinari back and see what he can give us.

i couldnt disagree with you more about Nate... I think he has been one of our top 3 players this year, he has played hard in games where NOBODY else has. Lately he has been holding the ball a bit but thaats because he is prolly our best scoring option. My main critique with nate is he does not get over screens

Nate is horrible?

King1 - is that the absolute best topic you can think to start a thread with?

I wish there were more informed and fact-based commentary than simply hurling an emotional insult at a player. Besides, if you studied the matchups you might conclude that Nate Robinson is not the fundamental problem with the Knicks.

The Knicks, until further notice, are playing wihtout an imposing center or an enforcer forward. That temporary (but significant) disadvantage is simply a by-product of a roster in transistion.

Nate is horrible? Wrong.

No, my brother. Nate may have his flaws, but he is NOT what is hurting the Knicks when they simply cannot protect the paint or put a body on a bruiser..

Horribe I dont mean I just think he is better off the bench and he lets his emotions kill him during the games. For every hi-light there is a stupid foul or too much dribbling. I like how know competes but I am sure I am the only person that thinks he shouldnt start and he should play when he is focused and sit the bench when he isnt.

King1 - each and every one of the Knicks is better off the bench.

You must be stuck in Nate's past. His emotion is exactly what the Knicks need more of. Harrington plays with passion as well - he simply needs to fall out of love with the three point shot.

Nate started last night because QRick wasn't available.

Patience grasshopper.

You wish we could have Gallinari "back" King1?

We never had him to begin with, and I would not be surprised to see him shut it down for the rest of the season.

See you in Las Vegas for Summer League.

i disagree w/u King, i think he's a very good fit for this offense, but he's best used as a 6th man energizer off the bench & not as a starter... i think this team gets a boost whenever he comes into the game off the bench & having him starting out isn't the same... last night these guys played very lethargically & when you're relying on Jared Fishlips & Anthony Roberson to come off the bench to instill that spark you know you're in deep doggy doop.

i don't think Harrington is all that overrated either, he's exceeded any expectations for most fans since he's been here if anything... the past several games he's gone back to some of his old habits... i think the short rotations are finally catching up to this team... u knew they couldn't keep up the energy level the entire season... this team simply isn't deep enough to be competitive in the NBA right now.

i do agree w/u on 1 thing, i can't wait to see what Gallo can do in this offense... his perimeter shooting & team oriented style of play should fit in perfectly & at 6'10" w/mobility he's gonna be a tough cover.

Nate had one game like that last night. His shot selection, I thought, has actually been outstanding and he's kept his emotions in check, overall. He's a perfect fit for this offense, probably more so than any other offense.

King1---Nate is perfect as a sixth man--when they try to put him in a position that requires too much responsibility aka starting 2--that's not him. He really is a great spark player who plays with a ton of heart. If you control that by playing him 25-26 minutes off the bench and he stays in control--he's a heck of a player. NO way should he be taking 22 shots--but that goes for almost anyone on this team--there is no star player--so they need to pass the ball for better % shots with less 3s--I dont care anymore--hope they lose 55 games. it's best for the team long term.

I couldn't agree with you more King. I'll be really pissed if they re-sign this clown. Nate has no place on a good team. He's all about him.

Nate is the heart and soul of this team and has been since he's been here.

Try and convince me otherwise.

Lose him and this team is nothing.

No matter who we add to the roster, Nate is and will be extremely valuable.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I honestly don't know if you're being serious or hysterically sarcastic.

Briggs I agree he should be a bench player and not a starter. A Vinnie Johnson type if he isnt scoring he doesnt play. I think Lee defense has got better he is second on the team in steals and has ten steals the last 5 games. Jefferson got zero offensive boards last night. He isnt a center besides last night I thought he has been giving a better effort on the defensive end.

I understand the gist of what King is trying to say. He took it to an extreme but Nate is still a One Man Circus. He's like most of the offensive talents on this club past and present. If they aren't scoring what are they really doing? Nate will have an occasional 1 in 7 games or so blow you away block, put back dunk, dive for a lose ball while wiping out everyone in the front row spilling their beer and popcorn. Other than this you're going to get a lot of shot ups from him if given the freedom. Nate has improved offensively but so have many other players in this league. He doesn't do too much more. His BB IQ is mediocre and he can't run a team.

Harrington is so overrated by Knick fans it isn't even funny.
