Judging from the numbers (duhon 20pts 2rbs 10 ast) and (rondo 26pts 6rbs 4ast) they both had a good game. But clearly rondo out played duhon in every phase of the game tonight. He shot the ball extremely well and pass when he needed to.

Im not sure you put duhon in that offense he will have the same ast numbers, but im almost sure that you put rondo in this offensive he will have even better numbers then duhon scoring and ast.

He may even turn into an allstar.

I don't know if I'd say Rondo Clearly outplayed him. Rondo was playing against a much, much worse defensive team than duhon was.

That's actually a very good point.

They are both good players. Duhon isn't the greatest PG in the league, but he's playing well enough where I'm not going to sit here and covet other teams PG's. Duhon is not really a problem for us at this point. He's been very good this year and has a 2 year contract. If he continues to play well we can think about keeping him. If he doesn't we can move on.

Most of Rondos points came from the Knicks defense totally breaking down more so than it came from anything special he was doing. But he was agressive in taking advantage.

Nate is entertaining but really really... short.

Nate is a 5-7 Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. If this was a 6-0 and under league

we'd be calling him wilt. He gets his shot off at will and the size really never comes into play with him because he plays much bigger. He's like a video game but in real life--no one can move like him.

I'll say this, he was better last night. To me, he'd taken the past couple of game off (Lakers, Bucks) and hasn't nearly been as aggressive as he should be (I was think fatigue might finally be setting in). He needs to look for his offense more for this group to have any kind of success. He can't just go out there looking to get 10 assts. and that's it. We need him to shoot the 3. We need him to score the ball. Better last night though. He's fine for this year and next year, but we'll need to come up with a more cost-effective PG sooner or later - Duhon's likely put himself in position for a raise after next year and I don't think he's worth $7+ million to keep IMHO.

Again Rondo has KG, Pierce and Allen all three of which are all stars/hof's and can all stroke it from outside he also has a post presence.

The knicks have harrington, richardson and lee when duhon breaks down the defense. We obviously shoot more so assists are easier to come by, but let's not discount the attention his supporting cast warrants

Can you please actually look at the situation at hand instead of saying he clearly outplayed him. If I break down the defense and al harrington and lee are the last line of defense chances are I am getting to the rim and am going to score. Now Duhon gets into the lane and has to deal with Perkins and KG very good defenders.

if our guys had been hitting their shots early on, namely Al Harrington, Duhon woulda finished with at least 15 assists... i'd take the 20 & 10 Duhon put up last nite over Rondo's statline any day of the week out of my PG... put Duhon around a team of allstars that defend better than any team in the league & there's no way he wouldn't be putting up numbers in BOS.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I harken back to the days of Steve Kerr. Obviously a solid but limited player. Playing in Chicago fooled everyone into thinking he was one of the hardest working players in the league. He had a reputation as a worker. In reality he was just an average player who had a great jumper and never really improved his body or other areas of his game.

I think Rondo is good. Playing next to hall of famers has its advantages. Number one it accelerates your learning curve. Number 2 it hides all your flaws. He's a good young player with potential but I can't knock Duhon just because Rondo played well. It's pretty easy to play when KG, Paul and Ray have your back.
