Thanks for the link, caseloads.
Now that I have read the article, I wonder about a few things.
First, Rosen blasts virtually everyone he mentions in the article. Is this guy bitter or what?
Secondly in addtiion to JVG, he blats Isiah. Funny Playa, you don't mention that. Are you denying now you were a big Thomas fan last year? Let's ask TKF what he remembers.
Third: Rosen blasts Brown! Bitterness shines through here.
Like I said before reading this, Rosen is bitter. He hates anyone who has been successful. He thinks he knows it all.
Sorry Charlie, you don't. As for you Playa, looks like you have another loser to hand around with.
Look - here are the facts:
1) I. Thomas wasn't that bad of a coach. He was stuck in politics. The post-allstar break decline of the pacers? Everyone on that team was stuck in some sort of crisis.
2) Brown: He's a whiny guy, at least in public, which wont work well with veterans. Yes, in Philly he had a hard time with the disobediant Iverson, but the guy might be a little overrated - Carlisle got the Pistons to achieve as best they could last season. I have a hard time imagining them doing any better this year under Iverson. The Pistons were a Chauncey Billups ankle sprain away from potentially going to the finals.
3) JVG - let's hold the jury on this one. Sure JVG plays little games, and sometimes those games backfire (calling Jordan a charlattan before a game). Let's see what happens in Houston. We all know JVG isn't fond of young players. And we know Steve Francis could pull an Iverson/NVE and revolt if JVG tries to be too controlling.
I think Rosen comes off as bitter, and he might very well be, but he might also just be on to something, or just a guy with an opinion, like all of us.
