How does this improve the team? Many think Dickerson's career is over due to recurring injuries in his legs...
As far as Swift goes, he's widely considered a not-so-bright kind of guy. That's not the biggest problem. Not only is he as dumb as a doorknob and can't remember plays... he's also rather fragile.
